Robert Decker Obituary
Robert Charles "Bob" Decker, age 68, passed away on Monday November 20, 2023, in Appleton. Bob was born on December 16, 1954, in Illinois to the late Charles and Dessielea (Hahn) Decker, Sr. He attended high school in Daytona Beach, Florida. Bob grew up in Rome, Wisconsin. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. Bob met the loved of his life in 2005, Christine Moon. In Robert's free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and collecting model cars.
Robert is survived by his loving companion, Christine Moon; siblings, James (Anna) Decker and Elise Dudley; sister-in-law, Kathy (Craig) Ile; niece and nephew, Rachel (Ben) Thomas and Kevin (Jordan) Ile; and great niece and nephews, Daxton, Macie and Beckham.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Charles, Sr. and Dessielea; and brother Charles, Jr.
A funeral service for Bob will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday December 1, 2023, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Pastor Andrew Zobel officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service. Military Honors will be conducted by Gresham American Legion at the funeral home following services. Burial will be held at Gresham Public Cemetery.
