Pros
Great environment and people in the company.
Cons
Unable to put into words
- 3.0UsherFormer employee, less than 1 year
Pros
Good seasonal pay. Long hour (8.30am - 9.30pm), good opportunity if you wanna grind for money. Very flexible in terms of plotting of personal work schedule. Supervisors are even open to make last minute roster changes if requested. Opportunity to meet colleagues of diverse age and backgroud. Work can be fun but it depends on who you mix with. Meals are provided during weekends.
Cons
Far Full timers style of work can be very different. So you have to adapt to them. Some will take good care of the part timers. Some can be.... pretty bad. Too much negative things to mention. At the end of the day, just stay out of trouble, be a YES man and don't involve yourself with politics. **If you are a part timer, dont take good things for granted. When you are being treated well, reciprocate and make things easier for the everyone especially the full timers. FAR FROM MRT. You have to walk about 10 mins from MRT if you are heading to office. You also have to walk to MRT from office after work.

Pros
-Department has good camaraderie; we needed to take care of ourselves so formed a good bond with one another -Direct superior effectively shields the team from unnecessary issues, allowing us to concentrate on our tasks without unnecessary distractions. -Good leave benefits especially for those with families -Flexible work schedule depending on your role -Able to enjoy the Gardens on your free time during lunch or after work + get 2 fixed dependent passes for your family.
Cons
-There is a noticeable focus on pleasing previous and current Board of Directors, with staff instructed to monitor them on CCTV and middle management expected to greet them when they arrive. This emphasis on hierarchy may raise concerns about misplaced priorities. Some Board of Directors appear entitled, expressing displeasure when frontline staff don't recognise them. This is ironic, given their numerous directorships, suggesting a mismatch between their behaviour and the expected humility at their leadership level. -The compensation is low, and career progression is sluggish unless you find favour with the CEO. Standard progression appears tied more to seniority upon entry rather than recognising individual contributions. -Company takes the bad of both public service and private company, creating a challenging working environment that might not suit everyone. -The CEO's tendency to use townhall sessions as a platform for lengthy, Sunday-teacher-style tirades can be frustrating, potentially hindering effective communication. -CEO is known to shout and basically loudly reprimand middle management in his office like a teacher to a student in the before times. -The company faces difficulties in hiring, leading to disappearing headcounts and workload spread amongst the remaining staff. There seems to be a disconnect between recognising the need for talent and understanding contemporary salary expectations. -A prevalent desire among older staff to retire within the company contributes to a working culture that may resist necessary adaptations to modern working styles and practices.
