The Gandy Dancer is one of those timeless Pittsburgh experiences that is tied to its history. The views of the adjacent Grand Concourse from the bar area are beautiful. We had not been here in several years and we made a point of stopping over the Christmas holidays with visiting family and had a great experience - almost like visiting an old friend. This spot is an excellent place for a casual get together with friends. The location is good and easy to find. The food is very good (they have an excellent vegetarian meal). The service was the very best. Taylor and Miranda were pleasant and attentive and provided us with every need, advice and courtesy. Two of the best servers i have ever encountered. i highly recommend the Gandy Dancer.

Located in Station Square and part of the Grand Concourse. It serves the same great food as its more formal partner, but you can dress casual. There’s not many tables but the bar is a good spot to have a drink or grab a good meal.Nice atmosphere and not too loud like some bars can be. Try one of their chocolate martinis for desert!
