In the last 2 years I have been an off and on customer of breakers. It was great when they had crazy drink deals, although I am pretty sure me and my 2 friends caused them to stop dollar beer night. they changed management about a year ago (Young was the owners name I think) and while it was still good service for regulars, you could feel the place losing it's appeal and not really making it happen. I decided to take some co-workers there last week and I was pleasantly surprised. They had removed the walls, which had always been there since I've been going, now you get a classy view of Herndon from the 4th and 5th floors of the clock tower (basically the tallest place outside of offices. While Herndon is not really the mecca of activity in the region, it is still fairly classy looking. They updated the interior with a new dance floor, moved the dart boards to the other side of the room more in the middle, and added numerous flat screens. One great thing is that they started to have good drink specials again, 3 dollar rail drinks that are strong, and they kept some of the better staff members. Key here, make friends with the people working there and you will never go wrong.
