Gal Gadot's 4 Kids In Order: Meet Alma, Maya, Daniella and Ori

Gal Gadot, popularly recognised as Wonder Woman, extends her superheroic prowess to motherhood, too. After tying the knot with Israeli businessman Jaron Varsano in 2008, the couple’s family and marital bliss expanded with the arrival of four children – Alma in 2011, Maya in 2017, Daniella in 2021, and now Ori in 2024 – all daughters.

The Heart of Stone star recently disclosed on Instagram the surprise birth of her fourth daughter Ori, marking another milestone in her journey as a mother away from the limelight and completing her ‘house of girls’.

Gadot has often articulated the profound sense of empowerment she derives from motherhood. “When you deliver, you feel like you’re a god. Like, ‘Oh my God, I made this!'” she shared with news.com.au in May 2017, adding “The best thing is to become a mother and to give life.”

In another 2022 interview with InStyle, Gadot talked about her affinity for childbirth, describing it as ‘magical’ and expressing her admiration for the process of creation.

As the Wonder Woman of Hollywood welcomes her fourth baby girl with her husband, we decode Gal Gadot’s family and take a closer look at her four kids in order.

Gal Gadot and Jaron Varsano‘s eldest daughter, Alma, was born on 5 November 2011 making the former Miss Isreal embrace motherhood in her mid-twenties.

“A good few weeks before my due date,” Gadot disclosed on Instagram. Alma’s arrival was a surprise that changed Gadot’s life forever.

Reflecting on Alma’s 8th birthday in 2019, Gadot expressed gratitude for the joy and laughter she brought into their lives. “I’m so lucky to be your mother,” Gadot penned on Instagram, adding, “Thank you for teaching me so much about life without even knowing you are and for giving me the most precious title I could ever ask for.”

Alma’s presence not only enriched Gadot’s life but also inspired her to provide a strong female example through her portrayal of Wonder Woman. “It is so important for girls and boys to have a female, strong superhero to look up to,” Gadot shared, echoing Alma’s own perceptions of traditional princess narratives.

Alma, alongside her sister Maya and daddy Varsano, made a heartwarming cameo in Wonder Woman 1984, the sequel to the original 2017 film a cherished moment for the family immortalised on screen.

Gal Gadot embraced motherhood once again with the birth of her second daughter Maya on 20 March 2017, taking her family count to four. “And then we were four… She is here, Maya. I feel so complete blessed and thankful for all the Wonders in my life #family #newborn #grateful,” Gadot captioned an image of the four leaving the hospital on Instagram.

Despite filming commitments, Gadot’s dedication was unwavering as she filmed some parts of Wonder Woman, even concealing her pregnancy with a clever green screen technique. “We cut open the costume and had this green screen on my stomach. It was funny as hell – Wonder Woman with a bump,” Gadot told Rolling Stone in 2017.

Maya’s arrival not only expanded their family but also hinted at future family appearances in her movies. Gadot playfully suggested the continuation of this tradition in Wonder Woman 3, underlining the familial bond shared on and off the screen.

Gadot revealed in March 2021 that she and Varsano were expecting baby number three — and later shared it was another daughter joining their brood.

On 29 June 2021, the Death on the Nile actress announced the arrival of their third girl, Daniella, with a family selfie on Instagram.

Parenthood took on new challenges with Daniella’s arrival, including the quest for peaceful sleep, a journey Gadot shared candidly with her followers on Instagram by showcasing her “signature ‘please go to sleep’ dance” in a video of her and three-month-old Daniella in September 2021.

“I feel like this is the hardest part of parenthood: the lack of sleep and the being tired all the time,” Gadot shared on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Later in August 2023, she again spoke about navigating the demands of motherhood alongside a thriving career in an interview with Flaunt Magazine.

“Having three children is messy and chaotic in the best way possible,” she said, adding, “If you’re at work, you want to be home. Then, when you’re at home with the kids, you worry you’re not working enough. It can be a vicious cycle — but you have to mute those feelings.”

Gadot’s reflections underscored the messy yet fulfilling nature of parenting. Balancing work commitments with family time required a reassessment of perfectionism and an acknowledgement of doing one’s best, she emphasised.

In a delightful surprise, the celebrity couple welcomed Ori, their fourth daughter, in March 2024, catching fans unaware of the actress’s pregnancy. Ori’s arrival brought an abundance of light and gratitude into their lives, epitomising the meaning of her Hebrew name, ‘my light.’

“My sweet girl, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we made it through,” Gadot wrote on Instagram alongside a sweet hospital image. “You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori, which means ‘my light’ in Hebrew. Our hearts are full of gratitude.”

She added, “Welcome to the house of girls..daddy is pretty cool too.”

Gadot’s heartfelt message reflects the gratitude and joy accompanying Ori’s arrival, reinforcing the Varsano household’s legacy of love, laughter and more girl energy.
