Q:
Any relation to ting sing that was in Gardena years ago?
A:
Actually not their son, he is the nephew. Raymond is the son but they are the same Chung family and the food is super good but you have to order way in advance or wait for 1.5 hours for pick up.

The food was really good! We had been looking for a Chinese restaurant and we finally found our place! We were told 45 minutes and it was right on time!
We will definitely go back! Too bad it is a take out only.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 14, 2024
Fu Sing is great! Authentic Chinese food and such a local fave.
Food: 4/5
The food portion is good for the price. Ingredients are always fresh. We usually get the broccoli beef, chow mein, orange chicken, and salt/pepper pork chops.
Service: 5/5
Great! Support small businesses!
Ambiance: 3/5
Parking lot is small. The restaurant is TO GO ONLY. If you call, be prepared to have a long wait. Sometimes they won't answer the phone is they're super busy so you'll need to place an order there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Mar 18, 2024
Some of the best Chinese dishes in the South Bay come out of Fu Sing's kitchen! Small spot tucked away in a small lot off of Artesia and Van Ness. They're always busy, so you know that's a good sign. It's a takeout/pickup only spot not a sit down. The owner is super friendly. They have a great menu and even better lunch special menu! Great portions, tasty food, fairly priced. Be sure to call shortly after they open if you're trying to place a phone order. They only accept phone orders for a short about of time before they stop answering the phone as their order cue fills up fast! To my understanding. It's 1 cook preparing all of the orders! Highly recommend the General Tso chicken!

I've only been here once bc they have egg foo yung on the menu, which is hard to find. However, when l arrived there was a sign saying they weren't making any right now until they find another cook. However, l ended up getting the Szchewan beef lunch...DELICIOUS! I will definitely be back.

Very solid Chinese food. The sweet & sour sauce was spot on. The chow mein is just like the style I enjoyed back in the day. The pork egg rolls were crispy and even better with the hot mustard sauce.

REALLY disappointed
... Yelp says their hours are 11 am - 10 pm today... I'm in the area and craving my two favorite things from the former Tin Sing...
Called at 3 pm to place an order. The recording says, "CLOSED, call after 4 pm"
Call at 4:09 pm... says "BUSY, call after 6"
Decide to just drive by...
Greeted by this (not so) "friendly" sign
Definitely a FIVE star rating, but disappointing when you can't even place an order!! It's worth the wait, but maybe another time. #iykykHelpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Feb 19, 2020Previous reviewI seriously thought I wrote a review a few years ago, but maybe I didn't? Well, growing up in Gardena, I had to check this place out. Just like Tin Sing they say? EXACTLY RIGHT!! Not sure of the stories I've heard, about the owner here being the son, but whatever the case, GOOD JOB!! I know after Tin Sing closed, someone tried to open up a copycat on Western & 182nd, but it wasn't exactly right. With that said, hopefully this place will NEVER close down in my lifetime.
My favorite is without a doubt, the ALMOND DUCK. Nobody makes it like an official Cantonese restaurant, which are far and few between. I live in OC now and I can't find even one. So, now it's so worth it for me to drive the 30 miles one way for this almond duck, drooling all the way....
Also nobody can replicate their pork egg rolls, which are filled with ground pork meat, seasoned perfectly and hardly any (filler) vegetables. Another signature dish.
Pakkai is also a favorite, and has been replaced in many Chinese restaurants with Sweet and Sour Pork, but it's just not exactly the same as Pakkai. (I think Pakkai is even more sour)
The egg foo young is to die for also, but get ready for a food coma.... You'll be in heaven, but needing a nap as soon as it passes your vocal cords. DELICIOUS.
I'll be back SOON.... - Nicole E.Torrance, CA226139Oct 4, 2023
Very delicious! If you want to pick up during the dinner rush, I suggest you place your order no later than lunch time. However, they will take your order several days in advance, if you like! I placed my order at 5:55, but they told me it wouldn't be ready until 6:35. I waited patiently, and it was ready at 6:35 exactly.
The food was piping hot and delicious! I will definitely be back, but I will plan in advance.
I got the chow me in and the honey walnut shrimp. Just look at that huge pile of giant, delicious shrimp! Sorry; I ate one before I took the photo.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 3, 2024
Fu Sing has good food and service overall. The portions they give are relatively generous, but isn''t really your traditional Chinese restaurant. The flavors and authenticity of their menu is definitely better than traditional Chinese restaurants. I recommend giving this spot a try if in the area!

The egg rolls are reminiscent of now shuttered Yees in LA. Always crispy and fried to perfection.
Shrimp fried rice flavorful and the serving is generous. Shrimp chow fun is delicious.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erica W.Corona, CA31727Feb 20, 2024
The chicken egg rolls are amazing everything is made fresh to order. My grandmother and I miss the Egg Foo Young since they don't serve it anymore but everything else is delicious
