FTW Championship is a professional wrestling championship created by Taz in ECW back in 1998. Though the title went defunct a year later in 1999, Taz re-established it in AEW in 2020. The inaugural champion was Brian Cage, who was gifted the title by Taz. Cage would go on to hold the championship for 377 days, after which he dropped it to Ricky Starks at AEW Fyter Fest Night 1 on July 14, 2021. The current champion is Hook, who is the son of the title's founder Taz. He won the title at AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen on July 27th, 2022.
