Nice trails for a walk. Some spots were were kinda muddy. The creek bed was very calming. Plenty of dogs around. People were very friendly. Nice up and downs to get the heart rate up. Very nice park.

Stopped here for a walk early on a Sunday morning - literally had the entire 300 acre park to ourselves. There are a number of trails through the woods and besides the various streams that run through the park, including an outer loop which runs a little less than three miles.
We took the creek trail which runs through the center of the park along a nice babbling creek. This particular trail runs about half-a-mile but then you have to jump to another trail (unless you backtrack) to get back to where you started. We switched to the B trail which took us out by the playground and stone picnic shelter and then just walked back on the access road to our car which we parked by the French house, a beautiful two story brick mansion built in the early 20th century. Today, it is mainly used as an event venue for weddings, etc.
The trails can be a little muddy in spots, but are generally in good shape (we did walk a while on trail D which has a bit of an erosion problem, but is still passable if you're careful). Overall, we really enjoyed this nice bit of nature with its mix of forest and little streams.
