When Libby Carter and Carlton Zesch planned their wedding, they decided that no color was off limits. The result was a vibrant and whimsical Saturday celebration inspired by gardens and magic. The wedding vision first came to life with the playful invitation suite, complete with quirky calligraphy and colorful watercolor designs. The invitation's palette matched Libby's bouquet of peonies, roses and other bright blooms. "The flowers paired with natural sage greens, gold tones, natural wood and bistro lights to create the romantic and playful vibe I was hoping to capture," Libby says. The ceremony took place in a garden lined with eye-catching arrangements, and the reception was in an elegant tent with long wood tables. "My pièce de résistance was the floral installation above the dance floor. This was something I had envisioned early on in my wedding planning and knew would be a total showstopper," Libby says. The bride wore a classic and simple gown paired with custom flower and pearl earrings. Carlton choose a sleek navy-blue tux for the ceremony and then changed into a fun patterned jacket for the reception.
