The Seattle Majestics women’s tackle football team will be having their Red/Black Scrimmage 7 p.m. March 20 at their home field – Kent-Meridian High School’s French Field.

The intersquad scrimmage is the first chance people will have to see how this year’s team is looking, in its quest to dominate the Independent Women’s Football League.

The team’s 2010 season opener is April 3, when they travel to Downey, Calif., to take on the California Quake.

Their first local game is April 10 versus the Sacramento Sirens at French Field.

Admission to the March 20 scrimmage is by donation at the gate.

To get more information about admission costs to games, team information (including this season’s roster), as well as merchandise and ticket specials, visit the Majestics’ Web site at www.theseattlemajestics.com.
