Last night our Falcons fought a hard battle against GK, and although we weren't the winners we still persevered. Eddie Edwards was injured during the 3rd quarter and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. He's doing just fine and there are no signs of serious injury.

The last game of the season for football is tonight at 7pm against our rival Kentwood! Don't forget to deck out in all pink!

Up Up & Away! Kentlake Homecoming tickets will go on sale Monday, September 26th. Prices that week are $10 per person with ASB & $15 without. Prices will increase the following week. Students must be clear of fines and Kentlake ID is required at time of purchase. Guest contracts are available for pick up in the Athletic Office.

RECENTLY ANNOUNCED: Two hour late start today, December 9th, due to weather conditions.

Kentlake lost against the Battleground Tigers tonight, thus ending our football season, but we couldn't be more proud of our boys for making it to playoffs and having an incredible year on the field.

Shout out to coach Thompson and the rest of our dynamic coaching staff for creating a new program this that is not only improving our boys' playing abilities, but their morals and character as well.

We couldn't be more proud of all of the hard work and dedication that everyone has put in this season and can't wait to see what the future holds for our Falcons.

Congrats to girls basketball for winning their playoff game tonight! They'll take on Olympia HS at Auburn Mountainview next week. Go see them Friday at 7:45pm!

Attention all KL students, staff and parents. Kentlake will be hosting our annual Sadies Hawkins dance on March 13 from 8-11pm in the KL Commons! Tickets go on sale March 2nd and the theme is A Walk in Wonderland! Spread the word! :)

Unfortunately the Winter Assembly tomorrow is officially cancelled. Winter Wishes will be publicly given out during all three lunches, and there will be normal schedules all day.

Congratulations to our very own Laura Williams for getting first place at the WIAA Swim and Dive championship in the Women's 200!

A job well done to Laura and everyone who represented KL at the State Championships this weekend!

Be at the King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way tomorrow to cheer on the Girls Swim and Dive team as they compete in the WIAA State Championship finals! It starts at 2:30, but make sure you're there early to get good seating!

Congrats to Seniors Carla Trujillo, Jessica Trinh, Kayla Hogan, Taylor Graham, Neill Smith, Kevin Pratap, Austin Tinnel, and Mitchell Hillyard for being voted on the Prom Court by their peers! Voting for King and Queen begins tomorrow.

Also, congrats to Seniors Tori Lanza, Jake Bailey, and Junior Travis Rogers for advancing to the Track & Field State Championships. Lanza will be running hurdles in the finals tomorrow at Mt. Tahoma High School (Tacoma).

Kentlake's American Sign Language program is hosting their annual Music Project this year from June 6th to the 8th. The ASL students put an immense amount of effort into their craft and are known for putting on an entertaining production. (Pictured-ASL 2012)

Mark your calendars- The occupational education department will be hosting the annual Tradeshow May 29th, during periods 1-4.
