Never in my life have I seen luck so terrible. The player, my brother, had a record of five nat 1s that stood for about a year before being trumped by the last session. He looked like he was about to cry, it was painful to watch but pretty funny.
I know this is mathematically highly unlikely, but I've watched him roll the dice. He just has terrible luck. He's used different dice, dice trays, even other people have rolled for him (usually poorly) and still he just has terrible luck. I'm sure a lot of it is confirmation bias, but six nat 1s? Two other times he had rolled 5 nat ones, and at least a few other times he had rolled 4 nat ones. I don't understand how it's even possible that he rolls so poorly. No one else at my table has rolled more than three nat ones in a row.
Does anyone else have similar experiences of being seemingly cursed lmao, next thing I know he's gonna get struck by lightning on a clear day.
