Say you want to start a new Gmail account. Whether you want to start over with your email or want a separate one for your YouTube channel or something else. Google offers 15GB total for free – it breaks down to 5GB for Gmail, 5GB for Google Drive, and 5GB for Google Photos.
Today, we’re going to show you how exactly you can set up a new Gmail account. It’s quite an easy and straightforward process.
How to create a Gmail Account
It’s pretty quick and easy to create a new Gmail account. Firstly, head over to mail.google.com.
Then click on “Create Account” at the top – or in the middle of the page. It’s the same link and both options will work.
Next, you’ll need to provide Google some information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Username
- Password
- Confirm Password
Then click on “Next”.
Now a new “Welcome to Google” page will appear, and on this page, you’ll need to provide a bit more information:
- Phone Number (Optional)
- Recovery Email Address (Optional)
- Birthdate
- Gender

Now click “Next”.
From here, Google will show a “Privacy and Terms” page, make sure to read the terms. Thne click the down arrow and click on “I Agree”.
Finally, your account is created, and you’ll be taken to the main Gmail screen. Which will also show you the first email in your account. It’ll be from Google, about finishing setting up your account.
And you’re all set. Now you have another Gmail account that you can use for business, for spam, for really anything.
