It should be خفف not سخف. Letter س is part of است which is an addition to the main verb.

It means you feel it lightwaighted

You've got the wrong root words. Use aratools.com for stuff like this. Go to the word section and type in that word it will show you brief meaning and root word and sometimes the family as well. You can look into the deeper meanings after that since that gives msa meaning only.

Also if you're trying to study Arabic then you have a knowledge gap in sarf. You need to know the families well enough to recognize that the word is from the استفعل family. And if you're only trying to understand quranic arabic and its meanings then it's even more important to start from nahwe and sarf.

Remember not all verbs follow that rule, and you are studying subject the wrong way. This way will make you tired and in the end you will know very little.
