A 1-mile loop. Enjoy the sights and sounds along this self-interpretive watchable wildlife trail. It begins at the parking lot on the west side of Kelly’s Slab. Head downstream through a riparian-buffer restoration area and wind along the edge of an open field. Features of this trail include views of Crooked Creek, woodland streams, a wildlife garden that showcases native plants, and steps leading down to the bank of the creek. Accessibility: There do not appear to be any designated accessible spaces in the unpaved parking lot off of Conservation Lane at the start of the trail. There is at least 1 designated accessible space in the paved lot marked with a waypoint. The trail surface is packed gravel or wooden boardwalk (with railings), and typically at least 4 feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less) except for a steep (8-12%) uphill and downhill section from about 0.4 through 0.6 miles when going clockwise. Wheelchair/mobility equipment or stroller users may need assistance in the steeper sections or to avoid them for safety. All-terrain tires or motorized equipment may be needed for the unpaved surface type.

Pretty wheelchair accessible trail. We had to double back because one section isn't accessible

Nice little shady trail. It was 96 degrees today, but the trail was shady. It's an informative stroll through the woods. Jellybean said it had nice water access for a dog.

A well groomed, well marked, easy to follow walking trail perfect for families with young children or those who need a gentle path. Park open from dawn to dusk daily. Leashed dogs welcome, and obviously this is a popular place to walk dogs…as evidenced by the presence of lots of dog waste. PLEASE clean up after your pets!

Conditions: Great!

A short but nice nature trail. I combine this one with the Creek Bluff Trail and make good 3.75 mile trail run.

Conditions: Great!

Very nice shaded trail, especially during Arkansas summers. Very light traffic and well maintained crushed rock surface. Jumped a doe. Probably tame for serious hikers but great accessibility and good for folks rehabbing limbs and getting back in shape.

I'll be 73 shortly, have a hip replacement, heart problems and lung problems but I really enjoy getting out doors. I find this trail easy to handle and a great way to stay active. There are lots of interesting things to see along the trail including an occasional deer, pawpaws (I never saw one before), birds, bugs and a whole lot more. I walk it a few times a week. I highly recommend it and hope to see you there.

Mostly a crushed rock line trail. Has info signs, nothing special. Limited hours open.

Flat crushed rock surface. Perfect for rehab workouts. Several wooden bridges. Just a nice shaded walk along the wooded edge.

Awesome and scenic, wildlife can be found along the trail, it's not a hard trail and has informative signs for the kids along the way. Great for photography and clearing the mind.
