Now 82 years old, Nancy Sinatra has thrived in the music industry. Not only does she continue to make music, but Nancy is also a mother, writer, and not afraid to speak her mind.

Hollywood royalty Nancy Sinatra was born in New Jersey on June 8, 1940, and was one of three children. When she was a child, her father responded to the call of Tinseltown, and the family moved to Toluca Lake, California.

While her dad, the late Frank Sinatra, was a giant in the music industry, Nancy paved her own way. From a young age, she immersed herself in the performing arts, including dance, piano, and singing.

This willingness to learn led her to a successful career in acting and music. Her most well-known song is "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'," which was a chart-topper in the mid-1960s.

Another hit song of hers was a duet with her dad called "Somethin Stupid." By the 1970's she began recording songs written by lyrical legends such as Bob Dylan.

She also acted in films such as "Get Yourself a College Girl" and "For Those Who Think Young," which both came out in 1964.

WHERE IS NANCY SINATRA NOW?

But, even though she was in movies and making music during the 1960s and 1970s, her career began to decline. The singer claimed that she was treated poorly by many women who represented the type of music during this period. She asserted:

"I was at an event at the White House when it was the Clinton White House. I met Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks, and they gave me a cold shoulder. That was painful for me... [I] felt like an interloper."

However, despite this bump in the road, her melodies continued to span decades. Nancy's popularity rose again in the indie scene in the mid-2000s.

Lana Del Rey has claimed her as one of her most significant influences, and country girl Kacey Musgraves chooses to cover her music.

Among many of these famed artists, and as Uncut Magazine reported, Nancy stated that she would love to collaborate with Billie Eilish. The "Bad Guy" singer named Frank one of her greatest inspirations.

A significant contribution to her music coming back into the limelight was because of her cover of Cher's "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" in the film "Kill Bill," directed by Quentin Tarantino.

From this cover of Cher's song to her ever-living influence in the industry, her music and life will always have a connection to the swing king that is her father.

She continues to honor Ol' Blue Eyes with books she wrote, such as "Frank Sinatra: An American Legend" and "Frank Sinatra, My Father."

Nancy has since created a family of her own, giving birth to two daughters named Amanda Lambert and AJ Lambert. AJ, short for Angela Jennifer, has followed in her mother's footsteps.

At 44 years old, she released her debut album called "Careful You." She had been part of bands in the past but never found herself in the lead.

NANCY SINATRA SPEAKS OUT

With beautiful children of her own and her music to comfort her, Nancy could lie back and enjoy her life. But, she instead chooses to use her celebrity to bring attention to important issues. Sharing an Instagram post about Ukraine, she wrote:

"At last, I feel as though I am helping people in Ukraine. I donated to World Central Kitchen, who are making meals for refugees in Poland. [sic]"

She asked her followers to think about donating to the cause. Many responded positively, with one commenting: "I did this donation here because of you, Nancy."
