If you're looking for the Paradise here in the USA- it's here. The American Riviera at its best.

The Professional service, care and personal attention is unsurpassed. Yes, it's expensive, launch for one is about $ 50.00 but worth every penny, because the food is great, the service perfect and the attention to every detail- not to be missed.
I adore this place.

One of the unique qualities of the Four Seasons Biltmore is every single employee said hello during our four day stay. How many hotels have that kind of customer service? I was impressed. This hotel has beautiful grounds, is across the street from the Pacific Ocean for a nice walk/run on the beach, with sunsets that are awesome. The hotel has history, with relaxing architecture and manicured grounds, with pure Spanish charm. The rooms are adequate size, not expansive. Yet, the towels, soaps and other amenities are fantastic. I was here for a business conference. The food during breakfast and lunch was great, compliments to the chefs! Would I stay at this hotel normally? Probably not, as it is expensive for my taste while traveling as I go to be a local, not to be pampered in a spa. Having said that, if you like to be pampered, do not mind spending for it, this property is your place in Santa Barbara.

Simply put, best hotel+resort experience ever. Enjoy the pool time, the hot spa, and the club. Wake up early, watch the sun rise and dolphins swimming. Breakfast here is pricey, but tastes fine. Best 4 day leisure vocation ever.

The colors, decorations and smells ... everything makes you want to live there. The staff were beyond amazing ... at first unbelievable. I had to go back to a few that met me on arrival to give them more tip money. I haven't had a hotel experience that left me this thrilled since 1995. And I was there on business!!!

Outstanding location, great food and beautiful accommodations. The area is so beautiful, don't miss the sunsets over the water or a long walk on the beach. The town is a short walk from the hotel for morning coffee and/or wonderful restraunts. But the hotels food and service is number one in my book. Everyone is so friendly and helpful it is a pleasure to stay.

Bar none one of my favorite hotels! Stunning location, architecture and grounds. There is a beautiful bar off the lobby with an outside patio perfect for watching the sunset - goes great with the sage margarita. Lots to do in the immediate area - beach, paddle board, take a morning stroll through Montecito and a short drive or long walk (about 3miles one way) to downtown Santa Barbara.

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are restored, but beware it is a very old hotel. The hallways and room size are not what most hotels are today. I did enjoy the new 70 in flat screen although it seemed out of place.

Unlike mid range hotels, Four Seasons welcomes our little well - traveled dog without adding any extortion like fees. It's a beautiful tropical resort a few miles from downtown Santa Barbara. It's actually in the ritzy "town" of Montecito. Food was delicious. Grounds are amazing. Nice pools. Croquette, putting green, both complimentary. Can't wait to return.

A true Four Seasons experience...great location, room, and especially the service. From the time we showed up to when we departed....pure luxury. The Casino was a great experience as well especially during sunset.

Is the lobby open air or enclosed?
Answer from Spanknyce
Beverly Hills, California1 contribution
Huge high ceilings in the lobby. Glass doors open to huge deck facing ocean which was across a street if I remember correctly. Deck use for restaurant, bar, nice place to have drinks or dinner or brunch. Couldn’t be truly open air because SB is cold in winter.
