I’ve been coming to the embassy hotel for years, and I’ve always seen this place outside. Decided to give it a try tonight with my daughter, as I was in the mood for some good old spaghetti and meatballs and Veal Parmesan. I am actually...quite satisfied. I’m one of those people that really enjoy high-end steakhouses, and East Side Mario‘s LOL. I find the product at this restaurant to be better than East Side Mario’s. Nice flavorful sauce. Great garlic bread and cheese. Spaghetti that became spectacular once you add cheese. Very nice. I will come back for sure. It’s nice to know that there is now a good solid Italian option close by The Embassy. Slightly on the higher priced side, but still within a decent range I would say. But I must warn you don’t be fooled by the hours on the website, or in Google because it is not accurate they close much earlier. “Covid hours” And another note, that’s unrelated to the food quality. It’s refreshing to see the importance of wearing masks in the Niagara region. However social distancing, is not being practiced regularly. It was a little annoying to be waiting for our food for takeout and have this waiter that works there walking around the place with no mask, walking very closely to you regularly as he cleaned up.... But aside from this I do recommend this place and I will be back. Nice spaghetti and veal option.More

Went to My Cousin Vinny's based on the menu Linked here and was disappointed to find that the items we were hoping to order are no longer offered on the new menu. However, we ordered some customer favorites, the bacon cheeseburger w a caesar salad...and the seafood risotto and were very happy w the food. I'd asked for a little spice to my risotto and they obliged, it was delicious. We would definitely return.More

Some strangeness eating at Vinny's. We were a group of 10 people but they wouldn't all seat us together. Regardless they charged us a gratuity for being a group. Hmmm. A bit sketchy with that in my mind. Charging gratuity for a group is pretty...common practice but would be nice to remind the diners before getting the bill. Anyway, the waitstaff were all fine. The food came pretty quickly. The bruschetta tasted good & the bread was nice & crispy. I tasted a bite of hubby's meatballs on his spaghetti. It was okay, not mind blowing though. I had the penne bolognese. The gluten free pasta doesn't taste that great. I know some people will say gluten free pasta doesn't taste good anyway. But I have tried some that taste good. The sauce is just average. The food is lacking in flavour in my opinion. The place got busy the longer we stayed there. It looks like a nice restaurant. The decor, large outdoor patio, indoor washrooms were all clean & nicely arranged. They even had a live band playing. The food just didn't impress me that much. I'm a very picky eater. To me this restaurant was okay but I think there are better Italian restaurants in Niagara Falls.More

My first experience here wasn’t the greatest but I figured I’d give it a second chance. What a mistake that was! We were seated way in the back and waited almost 30 minutes before someone came to the table (even though several staff passed our...table). Our server was not very knowledgeable about anything I asked him. I ordered veal parmigiana which was mostly sauce and the veal was dry, stringy, and mostly gristle. When I stated my issues with the service and food, they complimented the desserts but didn’t seem very concerned. I definitely will not be returning nor recommending this place.More

This was one of my most disappointing meals I have had I. A long time … they servers kept forgetting to offer a timely meal , resulting in cold cold food . To add to it the charges were with tax and service something that...was not required to be added based on the service Beats me how the place runs . During covid they have ample patio seating so that’s the catch Beware if you don’t like to be disappointed VFMore

Went there on a Saturday evening with 4 people. My sister and I ordered the Fettucine Pescatore. When the food came out my pasta had a hair in it. The waiter agreed it looked like a hair. He took it back and said the cook...didn't agree it was a hair. He asked them to remake it because if he brought it right back out we would know it wasn't redone. After everyone at the table were almost done eating my food finally came. When it came the sauce was watery and tasted like pasta water. I compared it to my sister's we both agreed it tasted nothing like it. My new "remade" pasta had no taste. Waiter came back and we told him and he said yeah it looks really different and he thought they probably did a rose sauce. Clearly it wss pinkish white however it was not a rose sauce. It seems to have been rinsed and they didn't add any tomato sauce. I told the waiter I didn't want it and he was not suprised. It was absolutely shameful that they sent something like that out. I asked the waiter if he told the Manger. He said yeah he told the owner Dan and he didn't say anything. How horrible is that?!! A tourist area so clearly they don't care. I will never be going back there. Horrible service from the kitchen and the owner. I would not recommend this place. Watch what you eat. Who knows what they get away with in the kitchen if the owner doesn't care.More

I dont normally write negative review as I am not out to bully small businesses, but for my sister and brother in laws 30th anniversary what should have been a great dining experience (as it has been in the past) it was a disaster.. they...gave us all cold meals, and couldnt even reheat it properly. Turned into my brother in law refusing to eat his cold lasagna and manager simply walking away. He said "can we reheat it for you" my brother in law replied "you already tried that and it didn't work" Needless to say, he refused to eat it and was still charged full price for it....... I mean we were all finished our meals and his still wasn't even warmed up properly yet - of course he isn't going to eat it !! They couldn't even make garlic toast properly - what does that tell you??? What a bunch of bozos. More of a clown show than a restaurant.. There is a MAJOR disconnect between the kitchen and the customers dining experience. I will never go back, and neither will anyone else at our table. The waiter was good however and a nice guy, he was upset we didn't have a good experience. We still tipped him.More

We dropped by to have a late lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere, the friendly service and safe environment. The patio is gorgeous with all the colourful flowers but it was windy so we ate indoors. There were only two other tables filled so we were...well separated from them. We ordered pizza and were amazed at the quality and tasty varieties offered. The 4 cheese white pizza with chicken was garlicky and delicious and the BBQ chicken pizza was equally good. We took some home in a box to eat later, they were that good.More

Everything was very clean, servers wore masks and some wore shields as well. The food was very good. The only and very small complaint was the service. Our server tended to the people who were drinking alcohol, we had to wait so long for our...check after we were finished. Only had one drink refill, but she tended to the drinking tables much more frequently. Now, we do drink as well, but we were traveling the next day and didn’t want to. We would definitely come again!! So don’t let that deter you.More

We visited my cousin Vinnys for the first time yesterday evening for dinner. Food was fantastic! Atmosphere was great too! And for the most part service was excellent! The reason I say for the most part was to begin our evening the waitress took our...drink order and when delivering the drinks, three out of the four drinks ended up in my husband’s lap. The waitress was embarrassed and apologized profusely. The one thing we cannot understand is why a manager to not come over to see if everything was OK or offer to take the drinks ordered off of our bill. The only free drinks we ended up with were the ones in my husbands lap. It is unfortunate because we did enjoy the food but we will not visit again as it was clear this place doesn’t care about the customers.More

After a long drive to get to Niagara Falls, we knew we wanted two things: Italian food, and something close to the hotel. This place met both criteria, but to be frank we weren't expecting much. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the food...was good, the service was great, and the addition of the Poor Boys band was the icing on the cake. We'd eat here again.More

Great menu - lots of options. Had a very good Vinny’s salad and added the grilled shrimp skewer. Husband had the fettuccine Alfredo add grilled chicken. Both were good. The piece of garlic bread that came with is meal was the hardest thing either of...us have ever tried to eat and was pretty flavorless too. Our waitress (I think she said her name was Caitlin) was great. She said it was her 1st night working there. I would go back but if I am in the area I will probably try some other restaurants first.More

We ended up going to this restaurant late at night because our dinner at the Tower Hotel Steakhouse was so disappointing, we were hungry again late in the night! We ordered a pizza to share, which was amazing! One of the best pizzas I have...had. We also ordered a few strawberry daiquiris, which were also amazing! Service was great. Our server was very sweet and friendly and she was fast. Had no issues with service at all. Loved the live music. It ends at 11:00 pm on Saturdays, but was still a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend! Loved this place.More

Food average, servved warm, rubbery garlic bread and pricey, topped by rude waitresses. Asked for table for 8 but wouldn't allow, even though 8 could be seated in not so nice areas of restaurant. In end 2 tables of 4 and they had the cheek...to add 18% service charge. Very expensive, and not a nice experience, never again.More

Greek restaurants same plate of lamb...is cheaper with 2 sides plus salad plus bread in a cheaper price. I find the place just for one time not more.More
