      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Despite striking a believable rapport among its principal actors, Four Brothers overwhelms with ultra-violent, vigilante-glorifying action and devolves into too many fractured, insubstantial thematic directions.

Fetti As long as you're not expecting anything in terms of plot or character development, Four Brothers is an entertaining, violent adventure with some solid performances and bonds. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Rebekah J Only watch the preview but i didn't like it Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Krystal One of my all time favorite movies. I've watched it so many times. I wish they would make movies like this… we need original stories with talented actors. It's funny, serious, has action, everything you need in a classic movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Pallas K I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I had expected it to be a typical action movie, but it turned out to be much better and more thoughtful than I had anticipated. It's the first American action movie I've seen where the characters exhibit such deep emotions. The characters are well-developed and the relationship between the brothers is particularly special. This is not something you typically see in this genre. Although it follows a classic revenge story, the four brothers and the depth of their characters make the film stand out. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/06/24 Full Review Louis W Loved it. Entertaining and what I go to the movies for. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/15/23 Full Review peter S Good fun, peppered with a lot of action. If you don't like the genre, don't watch. If you like the genre, you should have a good time. The script and the acting make this film lighter than the blood scene would otherwise. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Rated: C Aug 21, 2005 Full Review Nick Rogers Midwest Film Journal A usually sharp script, a firecracker turn from Chiwetel Ejiofor and a decent amount of suspense and surprise.
