- yitz10Fort Lee, New Jersey40 contributionsunique light showBeautiful light and water show. Free. every half hour. About 7 minutes long. The water shoots up unexpectedly in graceful patterns. Better to see it from street level than from the hotel balcony, one floor up.Visited May 2023Written May 15, 2023
- Stephen HAustin, Texas15 contributionsGreat fountain displayThis is one of the best things in Vegas. We watched it during the day and at night. Night is the best with the lights working with the fountains. The music seems to change each time. We even videoed it from the top of the Eiffel Tower. They did a great job with it. Not too long and not to short. Exciting to watch.Visited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten May 20, 2023
- Lady KimberlyKnoxville, Tennessee2 contributionsLonging for fresh airI think I would’ve enjoyed the fountains more if there was not so much CBD smoking, and pot smells everywhere. As a non-smoker it was hard to breathe in much of Vegas. It felt kind of dirty actually. The fountains were beautiful. It lit up an area that really needed it. The music compilation was perfect.Visited May 2023Traveled with friendsWritten May 24, 2023
- Grover RPensacola, Florida18,123 contributionsA Vegas Must See on the Strip, but Not Necessarily #1We stayed across the street at the Paris Las Vegas so our first night we walked the street and saw the fountains. I mean there were nice to see but I did not think they were the #1 thing to do in Las Vegas. Don't get me wrong, definitely go by to see them. A show is like 5-10 minutes and it is absolutely something you want to see. It just was not my favorite thing about Las Vegas.Visited March 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten May 31, 2023
- Britt GMuscatine, Iowa46 contributionsThe beautiful fountain!!This is a great free show to watch during the day or at night! It is beautiful every time! I can tell you how many time I watched it during our stay. We could also watch it from our Planet Hollywood hotel room!!Visited June 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten June 8, 2023
- thekidwonagainSulphur Springs, Texas86 contributionsNighttime At The Bellagio FountainThe wife and I flew in to LV to meet another couple for 5days. Planned to see this attraction for many years. Very impressive piece of entertainment. The fountain moves to music. It runs all day every 15 mins or sot. The night time visual is better. Very Very crowed down there. People leaving an arriving. A must see.Visited May 2023Written June 10, 2023
- Rob SNew Orleans, Louisiana333 contributionsBest free attraction in VegasWow, the fountains are amazing...best free attraction in Las Vegas. There are shows every 15 minutes after dark and worth it. The music and fountains are in coordinated together, it is like the water dances to the music.Visited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 13, 2023
- Balasubramanya BasuvarajEdmonds, Washington629 contributionsCrowded but worthwhile experienceA nice way to spend some time in Las Vegas. The fountains are relaxing and the way they are choreographed make them very interesting to watch. The downside is that they are always crowded and it’s difficult to get a good place to stand and watch unless you go on a non holiday. They start every half an hour from 12:00-18:00 and every 15min from 18:00-midnight. When we were watching there was a technical issue and the fountain cut off midway. We had to wait a long while for them to restart. But the experience is worth it.Visited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten June 17, 2023
- barbara wHalifax, Canada12 contributionsA beautiful view! These fountains are not to be missed. They don't start until after 3 in the afternoon and the presentation starts around every 12 minutes. There is a different sound track to each presentation, so stick around and watch a few of the shows. They are all different. You won't be disappointed.Visited June 2023Written June 20, 2023
- Dominic M7 contributionsMust SeeIf you are looking for something free to do, or just something to pass some time between dinner and a show, make your way over to the Fountains at Bellagio. They do a show like every 30 minutes or so. It is well worth the time. It can get a little crowded but that is part of being in VegasVisited March 2023Written June 21, 2023

It’s one of the few free things to do in Vegas and like many other things in Vegas it is over with quickly. 1 song per showtime. To get a reasonable spot in front of people who would inevitably hold up phones for FB live or selfies, and to not miss it - we probably spent more time waiting for it to start.
The music was outdated and felt tired. We saw the water choreography to the Titanic song, and in passing on another eve heard either a bunny hop or show tune.
Presumably it cross-promotes Celine Dione and maybe another show or maybe it’s trying to be non-offensive (would seem ironic for Vegas), but more current music would make the experience better in my opinion.
The water did look like it was dancing to the music, so it was entrancing and beautiful, but better music would have allowed me to otherwise describe it as spectacular instead of just okay.

The fountains are an outdoor free activity to everyone. However, they are on a timed rotation. Check with your hotel or the Bellagio due to changing of times during seasons. Mid week they only run in the late evening, but on the weekends it’s more often. They recycle the water so pro prevent waste. They are spectacular to watch as the water dances to the music

Love the show at the Fountains of Bellagio.
Day time less crowds - nicer at night with the lights.
Highly recommend going up the Eiffel Tower @ Paris and seeing a Fountain show from up there at night - it's magical

Loved to stop every time we could to see and enjoy the fountains, with different songs and lights. Through the day they perform every half hour, at night every 15 minutes. The hotel on the back is gorgeous. Loved visiting Vegas for New Years Eve

When I decided to go on vacation in Vegas my itinerary was composed of free things to do. I didn't want to spend any more than what I was spending. Thankfully, this is on The Strip and it is free. The show runs every half hour and they play different music per show.

This has got to be my favorite part of Vegas. Whether it’s day or night this display is stunning and I love the music. My favorite place to view the fountains is sitting at a restaurant across from it in order to avoid crowds and the possibility of getting damp. The crowds also create pick pocketing, so beware.

The fountain display in front of the Bellagio runs for the length of one song and occurs regularly throughout much of the afternoon and evening - either every 30 minutes or every 15 minutes depending on the time of day.
Water jets spurt up rhythmically to lights and music, creating interesting patterns and making it look like the water is dancing. Crowds gather to see it, so it is good to get there ten minutes or so before the show starts in order to get a good spot. It's a free fun activity while on the Strip.

Our experience watching the fountains show was truly spectacular. I am not usually one to gush but we were there on the night they played “My Heart will go on” from Titanic and truly it was magical. Any spot where you can see the fountains is good but if you want front an centre for a sowing hen you’d have to be there about 20mins before it starts to get a railing spot. Make sure you are near a speaker to make it even better. Once the show is finished you can hang around for a few minutes to take photos as the crowds disappear quite quickly. Don’t miss this, it’s pretty iconic.

Just go and see the fountain show... it’s a few minutes of your time to watch the fountains “dance” to music and it’s pretty cool how in tune the two are. The schedule can be found online, with weekends having the most daytime shows. We caught it once during the day and once in the evening.

This is a great show to watch except for all the people smoking weed around you. Watch out for the overweight Spider-Man and all the other superhero’s. There was a guy selling flashing light things with a poster on his back for escorts. It’s amazing that you have so many sketchy people around a beautiful show. I would rather get a room and watch it there

Hi!
do you have any information on how the fountain will be available during October? You will be building a grandstand in front of the hotel to watch F1.
Thank you

I know the fountains were available on both my trips but there were no grandstands. Have you asked the hotel?

April 1 2022-I'm reading the Bellagio Fountains are temporarily closed and hoping this is not an April Fools' joke-Are they stopped? If so when will they restart the fountains? planning to visit but will change hotels if the fountains are not running

sometimes they stop them temporarily if the weather is not good. (it states that on their website) It was storming when we were there in March, and I think they only missed one or 2 sessions.

Is there a ‘better’ place to view the fountain show?
econotraveller41
Houston, TX338 contributions
Better than in front of it? I supposed you could go up on one of the crossovers nearby and get a less crowded view, but making your way to the fountain AFTER one show ends will usually get you a great view if you don't mind waiting 15 mins.

We have seen the fountains & they’re beautiful. But, how is the hotel; rooms, restaurants etc. now/today after being closed due to COVID?
Cinnamon S

Hotels are charging resort fees but you can’t take advantage of the pools and workout rooms without advanced appointments. So it’s better to find hotels without the fees. Staffing is low in number and it takes awhile to get things delivered to room.

I would say park at the Paris. It has the best View. To be honest, just park in the paris hotel garage. It is FREE during this covid pandemic. And its RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET.😁

Is there an anticipated re-start date for the fountains as Vegas reopens? Thanks!

Las Vegas is slated to open in early June but expect big changes and restrictions and new rules in all activities. Specifically about the Bellagio fountains, you could reach out to the hotel directly about its re-starting date.
