Clerk

The Clerk's office is also known as the Clerk of Courts. This office handles a number of administrative duties for the circuit court, state and federal government. This includes:

  • Collecting payments and record-keeping for County Courts including criminal and civil judgments, child support payments and traffic ticket violations
  • Processing request for marriage licenses
  • Handling of passport applications
  • Filing of all court cases in Circuit Court and Small Claims Court
  • Conducts all elections within the county
