Fred U "Luz: The Flower of Evil" is a film that lets you bring your own thoughts and ideas to make the experience richer. It beautifully delves into the darker aspects of religion and obsession. I personally loved it but I see how it is not for all moviegoers. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Leticia L Such a slow movie, nothing happens. I don't know how it has this score. I wouldn't recommend. It has better scores than Hereditary, and Hereditary it's much much much better Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/19/23 Full Review Brad P Luz: The Flower of Evil is a strong mixtue of philosophy and hyper-realism that fires on all cylinders at all times. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautiful and traumatic. Anyone who tells you they fully understand the movie and its message is lying to you. One of those movies that speak to people in different ways, but everyone can get something from it. Also if you are looking for nicely wrapped up story lines look elsewhere. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member The Witch meets Midsommar, meets The Tree of Life meets Jodorowsky. Pretty much a win Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I might have to rewatch it again, but it is so filled with metaphors and symbols. Very unique, specially in the horror and genre scene. A breathe of fresh air. This will became a cult film for sure. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Anton Bitel Little White Lies a mannered parable of faith in which the human condition proves as mysterious (and resilient) as the cycles of nature. Jul 27, 2021 Full Review Cath Clarke Guardian The movie is oddly lacking in heat or intensity. Rated: 2/5 Jul 21, 2021 Full Review William Venegas La Nación (Costa Rica) It challenges us as spectators. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Dec 8, 2021 Full Review Rob Aldam Backseat Mafia A stylish and vibrant ghost story which is mired in the corruption of the land. Jul 26, 2021 Full Review Kat Hughes THN A film that relies on the viewer's own views and interpretations to enrich the viewing experience, Luz: The Flower of Evil offers a beautiful exploration of the darkest side of religion and obsession. Rated: 4/5 Jul 26, 2021 Full Review Erick Ortiz Butaca Ancha As in The VVitch, Luz's main family is being consumed. There is a general confusion, which is transmitted to the audience --including voice-overs close to poetic reflection-- and that, without a doubt, will not be for everyone.
