She married Porfirio Enrique Rubirosa Ariza on 2 December 1932, in San José de Las Matas, San José de Las Matas, Santiago, Dominican Republic. She immigrated to New York City, New York, United States in 1930. She died on 15 February 1978, in New York City, New York, United States, at the age of 62, and was buried in Cementerio Máximo Gómez, Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic.
