Located in the Hanover Marriott, the Auld Shebeen Pub is a hidden gem. Most of the team has been working there for years, and they go above and beyond making sure each guest is taken care of. Lauren, Tony, and Clay are extraordinary. We have...been here many times while in town and will keep coming back. Chef Jason was exceptional, and even came out of the kitchen to serve the food because they were so busy. The meals were GREAT, including the most DELICIOUS black forest chocolate mousse! The Fish and Chips were awesome, the salmon entree, crab cake sandwich, nachos and Emerald Isle Seafood platter were a big hit. It’s definitely a great place to Eat, Drink and be Merry, watch the game or drink and chat with locals and hotel guests alike.More

Stopped in for dinner and a drink. The Guinness Burger was great and so was the Irish coffee made traditionally thanks to Mike! Speaking of Mike... He, Clay, Cam, and Dinarie were on their game. It is refreshing to see everyone pulling their weight and...truly engage with each patron they walk past. AWESOME customer service. Thank you again!More

The bar was imported from Ireland, heck, my bartender was Irish. This is authentic as it gets! I came here for a late-night snack and a drink and it was a good stop. The quesadilla was excellent and the beer was cold. There are TV's...here to watch sports and many nooks for private conversations. Highly recommend!More

We were staying at the Hanover Marriott where this pub is located, what a great perk! They serve until midnight, and stay open until 2am, something you don't normally find in any restaurant, even in other hotels. How happy we were to have a late...night meal available, after having worked an event all day. Typical Irish Pub fare, great cocktails and an attentive staff. Enjoy!!More

All the food and drinks we had here were bad. My burger was terrible. Roll was stale. meat was previously frozen. Even my ginger ale was off. Multiple people at our table sent food and drinks back. All tasted weird and funny. Plenty of choices...within an easy drive.More

For a hotel restaurant, this place has a nicely varied menu (even has veggie burgers) and decent prices. Staff is always very responsive, even when it's packed.

This was a nice change of pace from your typical hotel restaurant. In the evening, it's not necessarily conducive to business conversation since it was pretty loud when we were there, but it was enjoyable. There were a lot of food options, and the 1401...burger was quite good.More

Despite standing at the host(ess) station in plain view, it took me 5 minutes to get seated. A menu and list of specials was tossed onto the table in front of me. The only service highlight was the pleasant gentleman who brought out the food....No one checked on how my meal was. I was finally able to catch the attention of someone to bring my check. The "root vegetables" in my celtic pie consisted mostly of peas, which I didn't know was a root vegetable. The "cheese crust" was melted cheese on top of a thick layer of mashed potatoes. However the overall flavor was good, and there certainly was enough of it (actually too much).More

Have you not been paying attention? Women want respect. I earn a decent salary, have worked in restaurant hospitality/bar service for most of my life, and expect to be acknowledged. I waited for you to just say hello— yet you continued to pass me by—for...seven minutes, not even acknowledging my existence...taking care of the orders of men around me instead. I’m a woman, a member of Rotary, and extremely disappointed. I ordered a baileys on the rocks, a seltzer, and a sauv blanc with ice on the side. For a twenty six dollar bill, I left you a ten dollar tip. Not for your great service, but because I’ve been in the business...for two female bartenders and one male, you were busy—yet you ignored me. Sorry Marriott employees-you failed.More

In town on business and it was extremely cold out so the Auld Shebeen in the lobby of the Marriott is perfect. Actually, regardless of the weather it's perfect. I've eaten here twice and both meals were excellent. I tried both the mustard cod and...the braised short ribs...the ribs were amazing! Great Irish/ old world atmosphere and the staff were all friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant.More

We waited for a half and hour before we were called to a table. The hostess seemed annoyed by people. We barely sat down and our waiter (red glasses, about 47yo) asked what we'd wanted to drink. We didn't have a chance to look at...the menu and I wasn't sure what alcoholic drinks they served because it was my first time there. I requested a drink menu and y'Auld Red Glasses Man rolled his eyes dramatically. He returned with the drink menu and slid it/threw it across two tables to me. He returned annoyed for our orders after 10 minutes and took our orders. Another man brought our food out after 35 minutes. Y'Auld Red Glasses Man never checked on us, my food was COLD. He kept walking by and giving us dirty looks. He never asked if we wanted drink refills. He was very attentive about the bill though. Needless to say, I should've left after the first display of attitude but I was at a convention with my friends and husband. Worst restaurant I've ever experienced. The Marriott it is in is also unclean and gross.More
