Lovely well maintained gardens to stroll through. Make sure you visit Cooks Cottage, the tudor village, Fairy tree and scared tree while there. Easy walkways. Unfortunately the Conservatory was closed.

It is such a delight to walk around, sit and muse, meet up with friends for a picnic, place to be.

The magnificent trees shade you in summer. The wide open lawns defy you to not run across them, particularly if you are a child, or just young at heart !!

A great place to relax and contemplate ones future.........

The gardens are gem in the heart of the city. A variety of paths lead you along groves of palms, hedges of succulent, and tree-lined fields. Flowers are abundant even in winter with daffodils and flowering succulents. The park is full of the sound of birds. Enjoy the smells of nature. Popular with locals, tourists, workout groups, and schools

The Gardens during our visit were magnificent, even with nearly all the trees leafless for Winter. The highlight of our walk was to see the drifts of Daffodils and Jonquils coming into bloom. The massed planting under the bare trees looked fabulous. The paths are wide and inclines very gentle so easy to push a stroller or wheelchair though this wasn't necessary!
