Hence, it was truly surprising when Finn Balor was able to keep his relationship with Veronica Rodriguez private.

Irish professional wrestler, Finn Balor, broke the news of his relationship back in 2019. The current NXT Champion ‘confirmed’ the relationship after long speculation (more on that later).

The 39-year-old wrestler found himself a perfect match in Veronica Rodriguez, who is also in the world of sports. Finn Balor and Veronica tied the knot on August 19, 2019, in a private ceremony.

While Finn Balor is famous for his actions in the squared circle, Veronica has the duty of presenting the events to the public. Mexican by birth, Rodriguez holds a degree in communications and is currently associated with Fox Sports, Mexico, and Fox Deportes.

The 33-year-old began her career back in 2007 as a reporter on Pumas TV, and she used to cover the daily life of UNAM Pumas. Her career took off when she was still pursuing her education.

She went on to co-host Locas por el Futbol for MVS Television after she graduated from her college. Post that, Fox Sports Latin America- North Cone signed her in 2014.

They assigned her to host previews of Club de Futbol Pachuca and Club Leon. Soon, she became a sideline reporter for Liga MX and Liga MX Feminil.

In 2017, they bestowed her with the duty to cover WWE as she began covering WWE Saturday Nights. Through this, she had to cover several editions of WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Monday Night Raw, and various events held across Mexico.

Veronica Rodriguez has successfully covered the 2016 summer Olympics held in Brazil and two UEFA Champions League Finals in 2016 and 2019. The latter event is also memorable as Balor confirmed their relationship during the finals.

“I think the big question on everyone’s lips is, Finn Balor and Veronica are actually dating for a long time? Is that true?” a very drunk Balor asked. “Yeah, it’s for a long time actually,” she replied. Then, Balor said how he already won in life.

As we mentioned earlier, the couple got married in 2019, with close friends and family in attendance. They regularly share updates about each other on social media. Rodriguez often accompanies Balor as well.
