The Englishman spoke about racism on a personal and general level and remarked that he becomes furious whenever he comes across discriminatory comments on social media or face-to-face. When asked whether racism ever inhibited him, Tomori replied: “For me no. I certainly saw something on my social media, but for me, it was never the case. But I know well that it exists and that there is a problem. It pisses me off. “

The 26-year-old talked about how several initiatives are being carried out in England to curb the evil of racism as he said how the problem needs to be discussed and ways to eliminate it must be propagated. He commented: “We all know that there is a problem of racism. I personally say that I am happy that attempts are being made to eliminate this problem. In England there are many initiatives. I am happy to talk about it because racism exists in football and outside of football. Today we can talk about it, giving some advice on how to eliminate it.”
