Expanded Collection of Executive Orders Now Live!

We are excited to announce a significant expansion to our collection of Executive orders on FederalRegister.gov. Our new release incorporates the extensive dataset of historical National Archives Executive order Disposition Tables, dating back to the era of Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1937.

What’s New?

  • Enhanced Data Accuracy: Integration and structuring of the disposition table data allowed for improvements to the accuracy and completeness of the data.
  • Intelligent Navigation: Citation-based deep-linking technology guides you directly to the content within historical PDFs, enhancing your browsing experience when searching for older EO document citations.
  • Seamless Connections: Easily navigate between related Executive orders via hyperlinked disposition notes, making it simpler to track amendments, revocations, other references.

Following this update, we will be centralizing the presence of NARA Executive order Disposition Tables exclusively on FederalRegister.gov. This change aims to streamline your access to these important documents.

We encourage you to explore these new features and familiarize yourself with the updated system. Your feedback is invaluable—please use our site feedback feature to let us know your thoughts and how you are utilizing this enriched resource.
