Illusions in Vaccine Effectiveness | The pseudo-effectiveness of Covid vaccines against death from unrelated causes is not a new observation. The same kind of pseudo-effectiveness was discovered long ago for the flu vaccines. It is called the “healthy vaccinee effect.”

Make them sick with vaccine reactions, then when they are almost on their deathbed they say they have covid. When they kill the person it’s now a covid death and they didn’t get their booster yet so it’s a unvaxxed covid death. I still have yet to know a single unvaccinated person who passed from covid. I know quite a few jabbed that died from “covid”.

Are antivaxxers now throwing Peter Aaby under the bus and claiming that non-specific effects of vaccines don't exist? Aaby must be crying in the corner after being held in such high esteem for so many years by the antivax community.

I especially like how the author completely ignores the Charlson Comorbidity Index score plots from the study in US vets which demonstrates that even when comorbidities are accounted for, the fully vaccinated still do better, demonstrating that the effect isn't due to healthy vaccinee bias. The estimates in the paper are also adjusted for Charlson Comorbidity Index score in addition to overweight, type II diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchitis, acute respiratory failure, and chronic lung disease.

A recent study from the Czech Republic has made significant contributions to the scientific literature on Covid vaccines and the healthy vaccinee effect. First, the authors observed the phenomenon in another country, lending support to its universal nature. Second, they provide clear evidence that those who chose (or were coerced) to be vaccinated were indeed healthier. Third, they show that the phenomenon is consistent along the sequence of doses, as was evident in UK data for booster doses. Those who continued to the next dose were healthier than those who did not. Lastly, they demonstrate that the observed pattern in their data can be reproduced by simulated data when a vaccine has no effect and only the healthy vaccinee effect is operating. It is worth reading the paper in full, whether or not you are a scientist.
