    Best food I’ve eaten in a very long time. Mackerel starter and a lovely big piece of sea bass for main. Delish! Great service. Yorkshire Tea too. I even loved their cups and saucers. Would highly recommend the fixed price lunch menu.

    The food standard is outstanding, however the service doesn’t quite match this. We arrived a bit early and sat outside to have drinks before the meal. We over spilt a beer on the table and I asked the waitress to clean it. She never did, the beer started over spilling and dripping down on my feet. I then asked another waitress to bring me a napkin so I can clean it. She brought the napkin and left me to it. It’s only a small thing but attention to detail is so important and I shouldn’t me wiping my own table!! Big no no. Please fix this as we love your restaurant.

    Lovely atmosphere, very attentive helpful staff, great food. The restaurant went out of its way to accommodate one of our party who had specific/complicated dietary requirements. This member of our party thought it was one of the best GF meals she had ever had! Because we had booked an outside table they also rang in advance to check we were still happy for that table given poor weather - which was very considerate of the restaurant.

    We were moved to an inside table which was good however where I was seated I could see the toilet and experienced some smell from the washroom, the door of the toilet was sliding and often left open by customers on exiting

    Well we love Pranzo normally and we go regularly enough. So for my partners birthday we decided to go because it’s one of our favourites. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful if they tried. The bottle as requested was waiting for us with a lovely card signed by the whole restaurant’s staff. It was such a brilliant touch, along with a nice sing song and desert brought to the table. They really made her night so special so I am extremely grateful

    We have had a really lovely time at Pranzo the food is top notch and we loved every mouthful I would highly recommend a visit and will return when we revisit Harrogate in the near tuture

    Superb Italian cuisine backed up by great service. I ordered Seafood Bigoli and it was delicious. Wines were topped up regularly without needing to ask. Highly recommended.

    Amazing Italian food and in a lovely setting. Attentive and warm staff who make you feel really welcome. One of the best Italians I've had in a long time and I'm actually Italian !

    An excellent restaurant. Nice atmosphere and good service. Love that the pasta is homemade and the choices are a bit different from the usual Italian offerings. My only small criticism is that my friend and I don’t have huge appetites and would appreciate the option of smaller plates. The food is delicious, but the portions are quite substantial and we were disappointed to be unable to eat it all.

    we live in Ilkley and often frequent the Ilkley Pranzo , and when in Harrogate we try the one there . either one, never ever fails it impress, the best food and service for miles around , there's a lot of restaurants in and around this area, either Harrogate or Ilkley Pranzo are in the top 10

    Took some friends from London to Pranzo for lunch. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcome and looked after by the friendly, experienced staff. Inside, the restaurant is clean and elegant with plenty of space around the tables. The family photo's on the wall showcase Prenzo's heritage and ethos. We couldn't fault the food. A well chosen selection of meat, fish and vegetarian pasta dishes from family recipes, perfectly balanced and seasoned. The pasta is hand made daily and the garlic bread and polenta chips make great sides. Nonna's lemon and pine nut tart is a must have! Nice wine list, with recommendations and the option to sample before choosing. Even the Londoners were impressed! It'll be a regular venue from now on when people visit.

    Food was excellent as always but let down by poor service. We arrived at 12.30 and there was just one other table occupied. Starters arrived no problem but then waited about an hour for 2nd course to arrive. We sat and watched other people arrive after us and get their starters followed by mains before our mains arrived. When we questioned the staff we were told the delay was due to a larger party having arrived. In my opinion that was not an acceptable reason and I believe we had been forgotten! We didn't order desserts and it was nearly 3pm before we left. Disappointing as this was a birthday celebration. Will we return? Probably not.

    Would recommend the light lunch, which was very tasty. This is my third visit and each time the meal has been really enjoyable. Staff were very attentive. I would recommend a few soft furnishings or wall coverings or acoustic boards to deaden some of the noise. The restaurant was not full but the noise level seemed very high

    We went on a Saturday at 3:00pm, lots of tables available, service was good. We had starters, main and dessert. Very tasty and fresh although they forgot our side dish so I had to ask and wait 10 minutes for it to arrive so our mains where cold by the time they brought it out. Everything was lovely and the best lemon tart I’ve had elsewhere! Would definitely go back

    The food at Pranzo is really good but as it was a Friday night and very busy we had to ask if we could order after about half an hour. The food did arrive quickly. Noise levels were high. I’d probably go mid-week next time to avoid the above.

    Scallop starter overpriced for what it was, although tasty, scallops slightly overcooked. The rest of the food was good. Service charge was an unwelcome surprise, so no tip. They should not have done that. |It is discretional but they should ask first. The service was good. They are letting their staff down.

    This is the best Italian food that I have had in an Italian restaurant. I am coeliac and getting GF food that is edible can be difficult. Getting GF food that is actually GF can be difficult! Four of us had Pranzo garlic bread with mozzarella and Parmesan. We shared two servings with one being the GF option. My three friends sampled my GF bread. It impressed all of us. The pasta was tremendous not had GF pasta like it! Service was great. Really helpful and eager to please staff. They did do a great job. I would recommend Pranzo to anyone, especially those who need GF options.
