Two-time Emmy nominee Kevin Hart's thinly-veiled character winds up handcuffed in prison in the first trailer for crime drama True Story, which dropped Wednesday.

The 42-year-old comedian made his serious acting debut alongside Independent Spirit Award nominee Wesley Snipes in the seven-episode limited series, which premieres November 24 on Netflix.

Kevin produced and stars as a world-famous comedian called The Kid, who spends an alcohol-fueled evening with his wayward big brother Carlton (Snipes) during a tour stop in their Philadelphia hometown.

The next morning, the hotel manager informs The Kid that detectives need to speak with him about 'a situation.'

'Seven hours ago you the biggest motherf***er since Eddie [Murphy],' Carlton tells his baby brother.

After The Kid stresses that everything he 'worked hard for is over,' Carlton ominously replied: 'There might be another way. I got this.'

True Story is part of Hart's lucrative four-picture deal with the streaming giant - according to Deadline.

The Grammy nominee's real-life brother Robert was forced to legally emancipate from their late single mother Nancy as a teen after he got into gangs, dealt drugs, and was caught stealing.

True Story also features Tawny Newsome, Will Catlett, Paul Adelstein, Ash Santos, Lauren London, Billy Zane, John Ales, and Chris Diamantopoulos.

The first three episodes were helmed by Watchmen director Stephen Williams and the final four were helmed by Star Trek Picard director Hanelle Culpepper.
