About
As Korea's largest theme park, Everland opened its doors in 1976 and remains one of its most popular entertainment options in Korea today. There are plenty of thrilling rides here, including Korea's first all-wooden roller coaster which is also one of the fastest in the world. Animal lovers will enjoy the Lost Safari ride on the world’s first specialized convertible amphibian vehicle, where they can get up close to animals roaming around freely. Buy your tickets online in advance to avoid the lines. You might also want to visit during the holidays for special themed events. – Tripadvisor

Rainy Monday in late June with 7/9yo
We planned to visit Everland while in Yongin but an unexpected monsoon forecast had us doubting whether to go through with it. Glad we decided to go! We booked $30US tickets on that Monday morning on a discount site. Arrived 11AM and stayed until 5PM. It rained a little throughout the day, but either because of the weather or because Korean children are still in school until mid/late July, the park was very quiet and there were almost no lines! We spent the bulk of our time in Zootopia as a local friend recommended we hit a few rides there first, so we booked kiosk reservations for Lost World, rode Amazon Express water raft ride twice with no reso or queue, and then waited 50 min at Safari World at 2PM. T coaster was closed, but we also enjoyed other random but fun rides along the way. We’ve been to Disneyland recently. Everland is also a larger amusement park with multiple lands to explore, but they’re really not comparable. Everland feels more dated and less polished. One day is sufficient even though you won’t see everything; just choose the top 1 or 2 lands that best suit your group. Our children had a blast and we felt our day was worth the discounted price we paid especially given we didn’t encounter crowds or queues. Tip: Wear sneakers and be prepared to walk a lot. There are several steep hills although there are a few chair lifts, escalators etc for those who don’t want to walk uphill Comment: As much as we enjoyed this amusement park, we did find that the Zootopia animals looked listless and cramped in their cages. For this reason, I don’t think we will visit again.

Magical place for kids (and adults too)
Huge theme park and there's something for everyone. The roller coaster was very popular with snaking queues down to the ground floor. Likewise the panda show attracted long snaking queue. One could be in the line for an hour before getting his/her 5 minutes with the panda. There was also a Christmas procession and a performance by a K-pop boy band whilst we were there. Too bad we were only allowed 3 hours by the tour guide because we had to be in Seoul by nightfall. Otherwise, one full day is needed to really enjoy the place. Oh, and it started snowing whilst we were there which added to the magic of the theme park. My young kids were enthralled by the experience. There's a Muslim prayer room next to the Shooting Ghosts game but there's no water. So one need to take his/her in the toilet or bring your own water.

Fubao (panda family) must go. Love this theme park.
Love this theme park so much. From roller coasters to animals to children games. Everything for the price of S$30 plus. Worth it. Fubao (panda family) is a must go. Usually long Q but won’t be waiting long.

    Lots to see!
Prepare for a lot of walking and some queuing too on some rides or the zoo area. The place is huge so I suggest you bring along a stroller if you have little children because they will get tired. There are a lot of rides, arcade area, photo spots and food to choose. I think the place is more fun for kids ages 12 up to teens. My 5 year old son wasn't as excited as I expected him to be.

    Fantastic Value for Money
Extremely good value ticket for a huge park with many, many different attractions. Impossible to do everything in one day. Highlight for me was the zootopia attractions, which included normal zoo exhibits, two safari style rides and a Panda viewing - I spent more than half the day in just this part of the park and got through it all. I spent 10 hours exploring the park, enjoying rides, and of course queueing! All for an extremely low price of under 30USD if you buy online. Advice for foreigners, try to come on a weekday and arrive at 10am to avoid long queues, though they will always be part of the experience.

    Giants Pandas are a must
So our purpose of coming to Everland was to see the Giant Panda’s at Zootopia versus the theme park. So that it what this review is on the Zootopia. We took a tour bus to get out to Everland as it was the most convenient way to get out there. To see the Panda’s it did require a run to ensure a good spot in the queue at opening. Currently you get to spend 5 minutes with the, and the experience was amazing and worth the treak out there. Noting the queue to see them 2 hours after opening was already at 380mins and we had been advised the queues could get up to 6 hours. So recommend getting there first. Most parts in the park are reservation only until 2pm and those sold out really quickly and you have to did it through the app which wasn’t really working for us.

    The best theme park, Everland
I would say that Everland was truly an amazing place to visit. From T-Express, a thrilling and exciting rollercoaster, to stunning landscape, Everland truly offers something for everyone. It can be true that some areas need improvements, but overall, it's a perfect destination for a fun-filled day out. If you're feeling hungry, some of the food options are perfect for satisfying your cravings. The variety of food options available caters to different tastes and preferences, which enhances the overall dining experience at Everland. If I had the chance to visit again, I would want to spend even more time there.

Went there twice...once during spring time which me and my teen MADE took the T-Express ride. I think if you are the type who wants to ride these kind of stuff you should at least try T-Express once. But be warned..the queue was super long and it took us more than an hour for our turn.

My second visit was during winter. Many rides were close including T-Express and small animals that were scattered in their area during spring time were kept inside and unavailable for visitors.

It will take up about more than an hour to reach there from Gangnam by bus no. 5002. Later you will be transferred to Everland shuttle bus to the main entrance. In other review it took more time to reach there by train. Plan your journey well.

The safari worth the visit which you will be taken into the bus ride in the safari area.Interaction between the bus driver and the brown bears were amazing and so much fun! You also will see numbers of tiger, lion and many others that roam free in their zone.

Kids will enjoy as many rides are available for all ages. The performance was fantastic. Of course its super cold during winter time but they did provide many avenues for visitors to get warm up.

For muslim..you may go to the one burger restaurant available inside there. The dont serve pork burger and they had shrimp burger just like Lotteria. Prayer room is also available. There were also churros kiosk without any other meals i.e sausage, etc which we bought. Mind you lots of kiosk selling churros but some together with blood sausages, etc. Basically there foods we can consume but you got to ensure no other meals that we can't consume were selling at the same kiosk.

Very convenience for those with young kids as baby room and stroller services are available. I will say that you need to spent whole day there to enjoy every section they had.

We had a wonderful time in Everland last December. We have intended to enjoy the sledding however it was only scheduled to open the day after we visit. I would recommend families who wished to bring their kids for sledding to visit nearing the end of December instead of mid December. The park caters well for young kids. We started our day at the safari and they had great time looking at the animals. We went on a weekday so there’s not much of a crowd. Getting on rides are easy as they are no queues and they can repeat their rides as many times they want. The ski lift is such an experience for us, we enjoyed it very much. The food is reasonable but very limited choices. We only have one meal there despite spending the entire day in the park. The decorations for December is simply magnificent when the night falls. We will definitely return to this park if we were to plan another trip to South Korea.

Everland, Mt. Sorak, Nami Island, Namsan Tower those are the places we've been in Korea during our vacation. We love the place, the cold weather, great ambiance specially during fall season. We really love the changing colors of trees.
Myeongdong..yes Myeongdong if you want to buy branded beauty products at a lesser price, then that place is best place to go. Our stay in South Korea won't be that enjoyable if with out the help of our tour guide. You must meet Haetahk Harry Chung, a very patient, approachable and punctual guide. He made sure that we all had taken our meals and looks for everyone's concern. Well he's not only an ordinary tour guide he is serving his own travel agency.

Everland was a decent amusement park.

However the biggest complaint was their Q Pass system and their app.

Everland has an app that can provide times and offers users the opportunity to reserve a spot thru the app. While their version of VIP pass is similar to other theme parks, their software is not user friendly to foreigners.

To register, it'll ask for a Korean National ID. Which doesn't apply to anyone not a Korean citizen. This makes scheduling or even trying to utilize the Q pass extremely difficult.

Additionally, some rides are allocated for Q PASS holders for alloted time blocks. However the App gives poor indications or information about this and users might be in a period where you can't ride because they are not Q PASS holders.

Lack of information, clarity, made this experience extremely poor, which is a disappointment considering EVERLAND was a favorite tourist destination of mine when I visited as a child.

Skip the theme park. Go somewhere else.

Korean version of Disneyland and one of the biggest amusement parks in Korea. At least it has some pretty top notch theme park areas which include a Safari land with live animals. There are many ride attractions and entertainment for children and adults. Seniors can enjoy the parade, indoor attractions and garden area. Best way to get to park is go with a tour package that includes transportation and park admission. You can venture to park on your own but it takes a good portion of time travelling to and from park. To enjoy park would require 4 or more hours there excluding travel time.

We booked the park ticket from KKday (SGD 30 per pax above 3 years old) and the return bus ticket from Klook (SGD 11 per pax above 3 years old). The bus picked us up from Myeongdong at 930am and from the park at 630pm, which was early but we can’t find viable alternative transport. From the bus drop-off point, we needed to walk 10 minutes to the theme park gate. Huge park but super crowded even on weekdays. Full of school children on field trips. Safari tour and tram rides can be pre-booked by locals (using an app in Korean language), but only open to the rest of the visitors from 2pm (where the queue was 130mins long on a weekday). There is an app in Korean language, and we painfully navigated it using Google translate to change the settings to English language. Using the app, we can see each attraction’s waiting time and height limit. Attractions for young children (height limit of 100cm) are generally empty. Children below 3 enter the park for free but need to pay for the rides. Once the ride attendant verified the ticket, the child’s hand will be stamped so the child can then ride on all the attractions within eligible height limit. The best thing is the cable car ride queue is rather short (15 mins on weekday), and it gets us across the park rather quickly. I personally would choose Seoul Land or Lotte Theme Park over Everland.

Everland brings back many sweet memories where it is a place for fund, excitement and a place where many people bring their kids and enjoy themselves. There are indoor as well as outdoor parks. They even have a butterflies farm that rare many colorful butterflies. And safari zoo was amazing seeing giraffes, goats, monkeys and even hippopotamus ☺️☺️

They are quiet similar to Japan Tokyo Disney Sea or even Disney World in Florida, where many performance and parade we made and perform during the day. Lots of amazing positive energy and love around this atmosphere. ☺️☺️☺️
