I haven't googled anything about it I thought to ask here first, but will it finish production at all? I still watch his reruns almost weekly, I miss him so much.

Everland production is indefinitely on pause. Chances of it returning are about the chances of winning the lottery. After Byron's passing, his assets were spread out to family and other loved ones. Ownership of Everland was given to only living brother Gary Bernstein. Gary did have plans on continuing development of Everland, however with a twist. Gary is obsessed with crypto and NFTs, so naturally he brought up ways to implement those into the game. Nobody on the development team agreed with this plans as this was never meant to be a game focused on primarily on monetization. Reckful wanted to go with the Riot Games approach and have people optionally support the game with exclusive skins aswell as mounts from a cash store. Byron also wanted to support the game via Twitch Streams and Twitch donations. Gary didn't like this approach. Everland still lays in Gary's hands but he may sell it off to another developer/publisher for a quick dollar to support crypto/NFT business.
There is a sister Everland game currently in the works. I cannot say much. A handful of developers from Everland have joined in on this sister game and there may not be much or any news about it for a year or longer. If you did want to keep up with updates regarding either Everland or the sister game. Join the Everland discord. It's not very active but there is a developer keeping in touch about both games every once in awhile.

Gary has had two brothers commit suicide now. That alone is enough to destroy most people. I almost lost a brother to a car accident, thankfully he survived, but was in critical conditional and hospitalized for a period of time and could have died. That alone nearly destroyed me while it was going on, so I can't imagine having two immediate family members commit suicide and somehow be mentally healthy after that.
Also it sounds like their father casts a long shadow being such a successful man, and Reckful as well had incredible success during his career. I wouldn't be surprised if Gary lives with a lot of sadness, pain, anger, jealousy, and depression in his life given everything that has happened and the expectations and examples he's had around him.

Decided by court. Byron had no will. Gary is his brother and has coding/hosting experience. And yes, he has it 100%.

I was a huge fan of Reckful. I discovered him when he was in his League of Legends meta. I became addicted to his content and personality because it felt like I was watching a version of myself living a different life. The time he spent offline, I spent watching older vods or youtube videos of previous streams. I guess you could say I was parasocial(?) but I tried really hard to catch up with all the memes and references in his community. However, when my IRL responsibilities started catching up with me - I wasn't as much of a dedicated viewer anymore. Although, I was very intrigued if he could make Everland a success.
I was a very small streamer with an average audience of 5 people when the open beta for Everland released. I managed to get in and streamed it. To my surprise Everland boosted me to an average of 60 viewers with 100 being my peak for that stream. Two developers of Everland watched my stream instead of Byron's and they became friends of mine through that experience. I made a verbal and text agreement I wouldn't speak publicly about what's happening with the game unless it's already been spoken publicly by a staff member. Even then, I'm still pretty in the dark about things because I could only know as much as them. And trust me, they don't know much either as for the future of Everland.
That being said, everything I said in my original post is already public information. The reason most people don't know is because it was all revealed in casual conversations inside the Everland discord. It's not organized at all and some info might date back to over a year ago. So it might be difficult to find all the info, but it's there.

The last I heard his assets had not been distributed to the beneficiaries of his will yet. Did you mean to confirm that the distribution of his assets through court has fully concluded?
Most likely, no. The project kind of fell through after his passing due to intellectual property rights. Because of this current production had been halted. The people who were working on the project had to find jobs elsewhere to provide income.
I’m not sure that the IP issues have been figured out yet, but even if/when they do.. it’ll be tough to get the employees back.
