Final Killer Instinct balance update and Version 3.11.16 patch notes
Update: Iron Galaxy has now released another update to follow-up their Version 3.11.15 patch for Killer Instinct. We've now added the patch notes for the new Version 3.11.16 update to the story below.
As was promised back in late 2023, the developers from Iron Galaxy hit us with a live stream today to announce upcoming changes to Killer Instinct 2013.
The bulk of alterations coming to the game (we've yet to get a release date for this patch) are general in nature, though a handful of characters are receiving balance changes. While "general" changes can often be on the drier side of patch notes, many of these are actually fairly enticing, such as the addition of new stages, colors, and, perhaps most of all, crossplay.

The crew at Iron Galaxy is back to show off what all is coming to Killer Instinct. Similar to what we recently saw with Street Fighter 6, Killer Instinct got a balance patch back in November of last year that attended to only a handful of characters and concepts, and we're expecting more today.

Back in November of last year, the team behind Killer Instinct released a new update for its Anniversary Edition that included an all new set of balance changes. The team has returned once again, and it looks like they'll be making more additions to the 2013 title.
A live stream is set to be held tomorrow by the Iron Galaxy crew that will be showcasing some new balance changes coming to the game. Apparently, we will also see some new cosmetic content during the broadcast.
