As was promised back in late 2023, the developers from Iron Galaxy hit us with a live stream today to announce upcoming changes to Killer Instinct 2013.
The bulk of alterations coming to the game (we've yet to get a release date for this patch) are general in nature, though a handful of characters are receiving balance changes. While "general" changes can often be on the drier side of patch notes, many of these are actually fairly enticing, such as the addition of new stages, colors, and, perhaps most of all, crossplay.
The crew at Iron Galaxy is back to show off what all is coming to Killer Instinct. Similar to what we recently saw with Street Fighter 6, Killer Instinct got a balance patch back in November of last year that attended to only a handful of characters and concepts, and we're expecting more today.
