Here's how Capcom expects Rose to play in Street Fighter 5, along with our own impressions

Capcom has put official word out there about how Rose will play in Street Fighter 5, and it's good news for fans who enjoy spacing and more calculated neutral play. Noting Rose's long reach because of her scarf, along with her Soul Spark and Soul Punish projectiles/traps, the developers say that "Rose is queen when it comes to zoning."

The team behind her creation said outright that she's geared for defensive play, but can also get on the offensive with her two V-Triggers, Soul Dimension (VT1) and Soul Illusion (VT2), which both happen to be two bar V-Gauge moves. Due to Rose's overall functionality, there are quite a few clues in advance of her official release, on April 19, 2021, that give us quite a few details on how she will play in this game.

Talented teenage modder turns Kingdom Hearts 3 into jaw-dropping Super Smash Bros. bout

A modder by the name of junior has posted some footage of a project he's currently working on: turning Kingdom Hearts 3 into a Nintendo character battlefield of epic proportions.

"Kingdom Hearts 3 except I accidentally made it into Smash Brothers Ultimate," he notes in a Twitter clip that commanded our attention once we caught a glimpse Mario flinging a tornado of fireballs at a keyblade-wielding Link. We then proceeded to watch the whole thing... about seven times.

Those of us who have been picking apart all the exciting scenes shown off thus far for the upcoming Mortal Kombat film pretty much have the images of the Scorpion vs. Sub-Zero fight burned into our retinas at this point. Said scene has been used quite liberally in most teasers and trailers, but now we finally have some new footage of it.

GameSpot recently posted 27 seconds of the bout between Hanzo Hasashi and Bi-Han that includes a few hits, bumps, and special attacks we haven't seen until now.

Super Smash Bros. professional pops off at amazing play, accidentally disconnects Switch, costs himself the win

James "CLG|VoiD" Makekau-Tyson is one of the best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the business right now, but perhaps he's just a tad too awesome for his own good.

During a recent online bout against a Sephiroth, VoiD and his Sheik held a commanding lead 3-1 stock lead. While being pressured off the ledge on the far left side of the arena, VoiD pulls off a super slick sequence that sees him beat his foe all the way across and off the other end of the stage, but then things take an interesting turn.

Street Fighter 5's new V-Shift mechanic has successfully added the 'boxing clinch' I've always wanted to see in the game

Street Fighter 5's newest game mechanic, V-Shift, has been in the hands of the people for over a month now. Though the new feature didn't quite function the way many expected it to when first seeing the reveal footage, this defensive maneuver is gaining traction as players further learn more about what it's capable of.

Since its implementation, I have really been enjoying V-Shift and what it brings to the table. Now that I've had ample time to really grow accustomed to using it, I can say that it really feels like Street Fighter 5's new mechanic adds something to the game that it has desperately needed for a long time — the "boxing clinch."

Fans are raving over Shermie's visuals in King of Fighters 15, but did SNK really need to give her a visible butt crack?

SNK has been faithfully dropping new character trailers for their upcoming King of Fighters 15 on Wednesday evenings for the last few months now, but this week's reveal is getting more hype and attention than any other thus far.

It was Shermie who got her time in the spotlight this time and developers were not at all shy about giving her some rather unignorable physical assets... including a visible butt crack in her standard costume. The internet has very much taken notice, and while it's clear that fans are hype for more than just boobs and butt, it seems Shermie's design somehow still effectively toes the line between obvious thirst trap and well-made character visuals.

Tekken Master's Cetrion match up chart for Mortal Kombat 11 has the powerful zoner losing to only one character on the entire roster

With her powerful zoning abilities and numerous strong attacks, Cetrion has been one of the top characters in Mortal Kombat 11 since it launched just over two years ago. The Elder Goddess of Life is still one of the game's best, and many in the MK community feel her abilities are annoyingly overpowered.

One of the top competitors in the entire Mortal Kombat competitive scene, Hashim "NASR|Tekken Master" Ahmed, has been playing Cetrion a good bit and recently got extremely close to winning the WePlay Ultimate Fighting League with her. With as many players that've been expressing frustration about her, we're especially interested in the Cetrion match up chart Ahmed posted on Wednesday.
