Got a little screwed by false but continued promises.

I loved working here. Unfortunately, the level of gossip to the point when a job you were led to believe was yours, that job never materialized in spite of two years of promises.

solid school

Solid option amongst private schools in nyc. Pay for associate teachers is fine and benefits are good. Also big plus is there is a teachers union which most private schools don't have. There is definitely room to move up if they like you (but only if) so close relationships are important.
