The "woke" mob, FAKE NEWS and even Burger King are targeting Chick-fil-A in a last-ditch effort to pass the so-called Equality Act (H.R.5). The Daily Beast published a report last week accusing the fast-food giant's CEO, Dan Cathy, of supporting efforts to derail passage of the anti-faith, pro-LGBTQ bill.

The far-left website revealed that Cathy, son of the late Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy, has donated, personally, to the National Christian Foundation (NCCF) -- along with several other "Christian billionaires." The Daily Beast says the NCF is the nation's sixth largest charity, adding:

According to the NCF's Form 990, in 2018 it granted $6,585,923 to the Alliance Defending Freedom, a Christian legal interest group.

Yes, ADF is one of many, many conservative groups fighting against passage of the misnamed Equality Act. In fact, Grassfire has emailed our team members about why the religious-liberty organization is so opposed to H.R.5. But it's disingenuous, if not downright dishonest, for The Daily Beast (or anyone else) to equate a donation made three years ago to Chick-fil-A trying to "kill the Equality Act" in 2021.

But this is EXACTLY how far the FAKE NEWS media and "woke" mob will go to "cancel" ANYONE who refuses to support their radical, pro-transgender, pro-homosexual agenda. It's the kind of bullying and intimidation that many American Christians are afraid will occur if H.R.5 becomes law.

Burger King has even gotten into the act by making a thinly veiled attack on their conservative, "closed on Sundays" competitor. The fifth-largest fast-food chain tweeted last week: "the #ChKing says LGBTQ+ rights! during #pride month (even on Sunday) your chicken sandwich craving can do good!" In a follow-up tweet, Burger King said they will contribute $.40 to the Human Rights Campaign, a pro-LGBTQ organization, for each Ch'King sandwich sold in June.

(Even The Hill jumped into the fray yesterday. The popular, political website published a story with this ridiculous headline: "Burger King declares war on Chick-fil-A over LGBTQ+ rights and chicken sandwiches". Really? "Declares war"? It's fast food, FAKE NEWS!)
