Eoin Christopher Macken was born on the 21st February 1983, in Dublin, Ireland to father James Macken, and a mother whose name is unknown; he has a younger sister named Freya Macken. Macken developed an interest toward acting, and began theatre in the University College Dublin drama society, but meantime completed an honors degree in Psychology.
