Jobs at Entertainment Partners
The good the bad the ugly
Engineer (Former Employee) - Burbank, CA - December 7, 2023
Good work, life balance. Will feel like you could lose your job at any moment. No upward mobility. Politics over skill. Overall, would not recommend this company to work nor do I approve of the CEO.

overworked and underpaid
Analyst (Former Employee) - Burbank, CA - November 27, 2023
Pros: -mostly supportive co-workers -adequate benefits Cons: -most analysts were very underpaid for specialized skillsets -management made decisions with poor communication beforehand, leading to more problems for staff -easy to stagnate in roles, promotions very slow, if at all -lower-level staff do 99% of the work for none of the benefits that are instead awarded to management who do not understand the pain points of their staff

Not the Worst, but Not the Best
Account Manager (Former Employee) - Burbank, CA - November 21, 2023
The work wasn't too bad, but if you do extra work don't expect compensation for it. Management is really cliquey and there is a lot of office politics. They are more worried about passing the Great Place to Work survey than actually BEING a great place to work. My manager also cared more about LOOKING good rather than BEING good. It's Hollywood, so expect some personalities both in the office and with clients. Clients were mostly good though!

Good
Grip (Former Employee) - New York, NY - October 18, 2023
As a Grip, I've had the privilege of working in a dynamic and collaborative environment that has allowed me to put my technical expertise to the test. My role involves handling and setting up various equipment and gear on set, ensuring that every shot is executed flawlessly. I've had the opportunity to work closely with the camera crew, lighting team, and production staff, contributing to the smooth flow of every production. The fast-paced nature of the job keeps me on my toes, and I thrive under pressure. I take pride in my attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Working as a Grip has not only allowed me to hone my technical skills but has also given me a deep appreciation for the art of filmmaking. I look forward to continuing to contribute my expertise to the success of future productions.

Feast or Famine
Construction (Current Employee) - Los Angeles, CA - September 15, 2023
You're either so busy working 30+ days in a row / 12 hours a day to the point where you have no time or energy to do anything while making more money than you can spend... OR you're not working at all for several weeks at a time because there is no work available, falling behind with finances, hoping and praying that something comes up. That is the studio life.

Seamless online payment and time management
Video Assist operator (Current Employee) - Atlanta, GA - September 8, 2023
EP is probably the best payroll company in the entertainment business. Consistently improving their employee experience and give personal on site attention when needed. 5 stars

Chill hands off payroll job
Assistant Production Payroll Specialist (Former Employee) - Burbank, CA - August 25, 2023
Good place to work if you want to learn payroll, they will train you, there’s a typing speed test. Good culture, Work/life balance doesn’t always exist especially during busy season. They’re lax if you need to leave for personal reasons, kids, appointments etc. The compensation is okay, you essentially have to go for promotions to get significant pay bumps.
Pros
Cool office, Hybrid/remote, managements mostly good and laid back
Cons
There are some bad managers here, it varies tbh. Lots of OT during busy seasons, no PTO allowed around holidays.

Fun to work but long hours
Production Assistant (Former Employee) - Atlanta, GA - August 9, 2023
Production is a minimum 12 hour day. It’s entry level so it’s a way to get your foot in the door and meet people in the departments you would want to work in.

Great benefits
Van Driver (Former Employee) - Austin, TX - July 27, 2023
Great customer service Good customer service. Somebody is always there to answer the phone and answer your questions and help you out. The only thing that is difficult is submitting medical receipts for reimbursement. They often get rejected for sometimes minor errors.
Pros
Pays weekly

good pay, long hours
Art Department (Former Employee) - New Orleans, LA - July 24, 2023
Decent job but sometimes working 70 hrs a week and all different hours of the day. The pay is very good. If you have a flexible home schedule it could work.

Account Manager
Senior Account Manager (Former Employee) - Burbank, CA - July 22, 2023
While EP has the infrastructure to be a great organization they are outdated on processes and innovation. This lack of ingenuity is felt by customers and employees.

Things Changed
Business Analyst (Current Employee) - Burbank, CA - June 23, 2023
Company culture was a great thing prior to 2021. Things changed after they were bought by a Private equity firm. Management was either let go or forced to retire, which changed things a lot around the company.

NBC Universal
Actor (Former Employee) - New York, NY - June 9, 2023
Great Company to work for as an actor. Can’t speak to corporate roles. Did not receive my benefits directly from the company but working for them helped me qualify for my union benefits. They always showed concern for actor safety and union rights.
