Summary
The squad-based online military shooter Enlisted allows players to control WWII infantry squads, tanks, or aircraft.
I do not recommend this game. There is no Linux/BSD port.

Tank play sucks. Tanks can't move around and get stuck on everything. Devs change the rules constantly making purchases ineffective or obsolete. Boundary lines are constantly changing in game and the player has little time to move before their squad self destructs for being behind the new line. Plane mechanics are horrific. It takes forever to master the controls and the bombs and rockets are useless against ground troops. To get any vehicles or weapons you have to grind for months. The game play is full of bugs. In game purchases cost more than a video game. Imagine, you have to pay about $50 or more to buy one tank or plane. Don't waste your time or money on this one!
Very fun, chaotic experience with a lot to do. 6 different campaigns with different weapons, progression, maps, and play styles help keep the game fun. Nothing feels entirely broken, the game is constantly being updated, and new weapons and events make the game fresh. Though it does **** that there’s quite a bit locked behind a paywall, it’s really not necessary, and the game is not pay to win, paying can boost your progression though via xp and orders for weapons and troops. Overall I’d say there’s a lot to enjoy, and having developers that care for the game and community can give you a reason to revisit it if you aren’t a big fan at the moment.
Great WW2 game, i just hate multiplayer and wish there was a Great, long campaign in this game. So I dont play it.
Used to be one of the best 2020s WWII Games during the paid beta now it’s been completely ruined by the switch to a “free to play” model completely destroying the progression and balancing with egregious micro transactions
