Rogelho S Divertidamente revigorante, ainda que caia na tentação dos clichês, em muitos momentos, a mensagem da obra consegue transcender tais percalços e entregar um filme esperançoso e formidável. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review XINYU C The narrative is a compelling exploration of community building and leadership, delving into the intricate relationships between the LGBT and cisgender, heterosexual communities. While the backstory surrounding Alyssa's brother leans toward the melodramatic, it adds emotional depth, but it's a bit too dramatic to the tone of the story. I have to subtract 1 point from the scene when Taylor said gay is evil, and people started to turn back on her. Then Mr.Hopper started to say, "This is not love; that's not god." Mr. Hopper's subsequent statement—"This is not love; this is not God"—adds a layer of ambiguity, making it unclear whether he is siding with Taylor or opposing her. I have to subtract another point. The 400,000 bid is crazy. They could actually find a new place, to be honest. PS: Stephen Shane Martin was so gorgeous, indeed natural gayness. Gordon Woodman's performance of traditional religion leaders was magnificent. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/02/23 Full Review bruce i Well done. All the Way around. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The film definitely has a humorous tone that ranges from innocent to mischievous. The way the message is delivered doesn't feel forced at all. It is even quite optimistic that conservative people achieve that level of understanding of the LGBT + community. It is light and simple, but no less valuable for that. Especially when there are ideological battles to be won, in peace. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review johann m 🏳️‍🌈 A religious-themed drama about a conservative professor at a Christian college who is told to infiltrate the meetings of a gay support group in order to stop their launch of an LGBT+ homeless youth shelter in their small town. The mission of the movie should be highlighted, not many stories challenge the audience to try to change their mind from a place of care and love, rather than forcibly imposing views. It's just a shame the acting and the dialogues are not very convincing, but a few emotional scenes might strike a chord with the viewers. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member At the end of watching this movie I felt like I have a completely new way of looking at things . The lead character was flawed but by nurture . Throughout the film his experiences turned him to nature. To be honest I don’t know if that makes sense, but after this movie my outlook on life is different 3.8. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/21 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com O'Brien avoids harsh attitudes throughout the even-keeled, gentle spirited film. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 2, 2020 Full Review Alistair Ryder Gay Essential It's unashamedly aimed at the mainstream American audience, with a mission to change hearts and minds - but when the film has a message like this (as obvious as that message may be), that's not necessarily a bad thing. Rated: 3/5 Oct 10, 2019 Full Review Douglas Davidson Elements of Madness [At the End of the Day] wants to ask questions of its audience and challenge its audience to answer them, not in an angry, forceful way, but from a place of great care and deep love. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 22, 2019 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Snappy, energetic filmmaking and a superb sense of irreverence add a sharp edge to this religious-themed comedy-drama. Rated: 4/5 Jul 11, 2018 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Although the script contains formulaic elements, it is to O'Brien's great credit that it finds its own direction and stands up as a piece of art with something to offer regardless of the ideological position of the viewer.
