Scout Willis, the 28-year-old daughter of stars Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has an answer to the question of why her dad is in quarantine with her mom and not her stepmom, Emma Heming.

“My stepmom was going to come up here too with my little sisters,” Scout explained on the April 17 episode of the Dopey podcast. “[But] my younger sister … [who has] never gotten a talk about not f***king with hypodermic needles …. she found [needles at a park and] she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot. So my stepmom had to be in L.A. waiting to, like, get the results for taking her to the doctor. My dad came up here early and then travel got crazy and my stepmom stayed in L.A. with my little sisters.”

Bruce married Emma in 2009. They share two little girls: 8-year-old Mabel and Evelyn, 5.

He and Demi, his wife from 1987 to 2000, are parents to Scout, as well as 26-year-old Tallulah and Rumer, 31.

The Die Hard star has been holed up at Demi’s house in Idaho, where they’ve been since at least April 7, when Demi provided a photo of them all wearing matching pajamas.

The two have obviously stayed close, even when she was married to Ashton Kutcher from 2005 to 2013.

Still, Scout said it’s been “so cool” spending time with her divorced parents during this time. They once lived there all together.

“It’s been really funny having both my parents at the house where they, like, raised us,” she said. “It’s kind of divine time to just hang out with them. … I’m very grateful to be with my family.”

They’re making the most of family bonding time, too. Snapshots show them working on a “family photo project” and having a music night.
