An odd arrival from a colorfully out of place 1950s woman quickly reveals itself as apart from reality. A conversation between her and the bartender suddenly comes into clarity, but only when we’re out of time.
Clean is written and Directed by Brendon Herron, starring Emily Brinks that is a part of the Official 2023 Selection of the Orlando Film Festival.
A woman tries to break free of the compulsive thoughts that seem to keep her trapped in her own home.

“It’s also such a gift to me as an actor to see it so soon after filming and have it fresh in my mind. It helps me see the types of shots that they liked, the moments that clicked, and the directions that made it work out more than all of the other shots that didn’t get used but are still very fresh in my memory as well. The latest set I’ve been on is “Fear the Walking Dead” which has been insanely exciting! It’s been a great way to jump into a lot more action and a great challenge to take on at the moment both physically and emotionally in a lot of scenes.”

“I also always admire artists who just go out and do what they want to do to express themselves no matter what the general public feels. A lot of people will be quick to judge celebrities, artists, or fashion designers and I don’t understand why we always have to make everything such a big deal and spread more negativity than there needs to be. If someone felt like wearing a certain outfit or creating a certain song and taking risks, people tend to judge something that’s out of their comfort zone. I’d like people to have a more open mind when it came to art and creative people. That’s a huge thing that I’ve learned myself and loved embracing as I find different aspects of the industry I admire. I would love to set foot into the professional music or fashion industries one day because I think life is too short to stick to one thing or ignore other interests you might want to try. If you have the smallest voice telling you that something looks interesting, go for it.”

“It really is all about putting yourself out there even in small ways, because it either leads to something else or gives you something to learn and take with you. I also almost always find that when a job falls through that I was really hoping for, a better one comes along shortly after that I wouldn’t have been able to do if I would have gotten the first job. Everything happens for a reason and it’s really powerful to trust that things are going to work out at the time that they’re supposed to, but also working hard towards making them happen in the first place. ”
