Went here to celebrate our anniversary we were staying next door at the Fallsview Marriott was just a skip hop and jump away. Had excellent food (ate steaks and lobster with Caesar salad) service was wonderful, food was excellent and view of the Canadian Falls...were phenomenal!!! We made reservations which I highly recommend doing if you plan to eat here on a weekend as waiting lists were very long. We booked for 4:30 pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was 90% full occupancy when we arrived. I would recommend this restaurant as it is very consistent in both food and service. We last came here 8 years ago and enjoyed everything about it at that time as we did this time, worth every penny, menus can be viewed on their keg website prior to visiting.More

My husband and I were at the Keg courtyard in Niagara Falls last night for dinner. The wait staff( Mary) was wonderful. I ordered the king crab dinner and it came but was over cooked to my liking and they replaced it immediately with a...new dinner that was much better. The also took half of the price of my main ( which was very expensive) off. My husband was underwhelmed by their burger and found it boring and dry. The service did make up for all of that and I would still go again as the atmosphere is dim lit and the view is lovely of the falls.More

We visited the keg at Niagara in the Embassy hotel on Boxing Day. We went with my daughters and grandchildren. My daughter ordered 2 dinners from the children's menu for her 4 and 6 year old sons. She wanted to substitute the fried chicken fingers...with grilled chicken and was willing to pay a surcharge to make the dinner more healthy. When she got the bill, they billed her for 2 adult dinners, totalling over 40.00 for 2 childrens' dinners. My daughter noted the error and the waitress called the manager. The manager was rude to her and would not adjust the bill. This was very unprofessional of her as she was not willing to take any amount off the bill even though the error was theirs. This is the first time we have encountered this type of rudeness at any restaurant. There should have been some kind of compromise. We will never return again.More

When decided to see lights at the falls and surroundings, we opted for the free parking/dinner combination, offered by The Keg/Embassy Suites.. The parking bit was great and took us right where we wanted to be and the view of the illuminated falls was fantastic....However, The Keg part spoiled the rest of the evening. Although we had reservations for our small group of 6, it turned out that we had to wait nearly an hour, before we could go to the Keg dinning area at the upper floors of the building with a nice view of the falls. This place is very big and the noise level is nearly overwhelming. Clearly way too many guests (with or without reservations), completely overwhelming the system.. Service was poor and our dinner only arrived after a long wait and not even all of us received their ordered meal at the same time. Quality was poor, which is not surprising with this " factory atmosphere" I certainly can not recommend this place, even with the free parking thrown in..More

We are regular visitors to Niagara Falls. We usually visit 3-4 times a year. We do not visit the Keg at Embassy Suites every visit but at least twice or special occasions. This was the worst visit we ever experienced. Had a reservation for 730...and after going through culinary line up we were told that they were running at least 30 minutes late. Well, we finally got to restaurant after waiting at bar for about 20 minutes only to find we had to stand in another line while we waited for hostess to check us in. Thank god the food was good. Will definitely NOT Return to this location.More

Let me start by saying we are long time Keg customers and always have a good meal when we go, regardless of the location. This meal was no different, but the review title and average rating reflects the service we received here. This was surprising...and disappointing as, like the food, you always get at least good service at The Keg, again regardless of the location. We booked here for our 30th wedding anniversary through their website. I called the restaurant to inform them of this as there was nowhere in the booking to reflect the occasion. I was told that it didn't matter the occasion, it was first come, first served for our desired table. We attended there on the 26th and advised them of the occasion and requested a Fallsview table. We were again told that it was first come, first served and the tables were full. Fair enough, we decided to wait in the bar and have drinks until a table came open. The hostess told us that it would be at least an hour, maybe more, until one was ready and actively discouraged us from waiting, wanting us to take another table. We declined and said we would have drinks and wait as it was a special occasion. We didn't get more than half a drink in when we were advised there was a table ready in a few minutes (15 minutes since we had arrived). We went to our table and through the rest of our stay nobody acknowledged or asked us if we were celebrating any occasion. Our waiter was good - friendly and efficient. The food was great with Baked Garlic Shrimp and Bacon & Scallops for appetizers and Sirloin Oscar and Prime Rib for mains. All done nicely and as ordered. Delicious! All washed down with nice mixed drinks and Niagara wine. We felt like we, and our anniversary, didn't matter to the staff here. We felt like we were herded in, fed, and herded out as quickly as they could move us, despite the restaurant not being busy (it was a Monday night, and a slow one, at that). Food-wise, it was what we have come to expect and enjoy. Service-wise, we have never encountered this before at a Keg, especially for such a significant milestone as this.More

We heard really good reviews about this place so decided to give it a shot. Word of advice be prepared to wait a bit unless you have a reservation as this trendy hipster restaurant caters to folks who want to see and be seen and...those who really dont care about the quality of their food. Grant it I only ordered the KEG Burger, but hey I am a burger guy and that's what I eat. So burger comes only one way well done but turn off and very dry. I asked about the fries if they were fresh cut or frozen, told fresh cut, well they are frozen really just tell me the truth. All in all $100 bucks CA $75 US don't think it thrilled me enough to come back. Now if I was a hipster trying to impress a date that had no taste I would come back many times.More

I went here for a late lunch as I wanted to avoid any dinner rush and get a fallsview table, right on the windows. When we were first sat we were placed in a booth but we noticed a table by the window had cleared...and we asked to be moved. The request was quickly accommodated. We had coupon from our hotel package and wished to use it. I was told that it had to be on dinner entrees only. The coupon doesn't expressly say so and when I went last time for lunch a year ago I did not have the same stipulation. Regardless my friend was vegetarian and the only option she was interested in did not fall into one of the entrees. Thankfully the manager was understanding and she allowed us to use the coupon any ways. The Keg Size mojito was great, my friend liked the wine selection. It did feel like the food and drinks took forever to arrive for the amount of people we saw there but I was on vacation time so it didn't matter. Like all Kegs its a bit pricey but I find this place was no more expensive than other locations. We had no issues accessing the restaurant from the Embassy lobby, that place is a zoo. Lots of people and kind of looks like an airport. Overall decent time would go back.More

My husband and I went for dinner at The Keg with 2 other couples. A reservation had been made days in advance with a request for a table near the window overlooking the falls. We arrived on time and were taken to a table near...the back of the restaurant that had not even been set up yet. Our friend who had arranged this was understandably very disappointed. I ordered oven roasted chicken and my husband had the pistachio crusted salmon. I found the chicken over cooked and my husband said his salmon was soggy. We both agreed that our meals were over priced. We have been going to The Keg restaurants for many years, different locations in Ontario, and when we have travelled in Alberta and BC. This is one location that we will not return to when we visit Niagara Falls, we will stick to the one in St Catharines.More

From the moment I called the restaurant, I was treated like a young kid. The hostess was absolutely the most most unsuited Individual to work in this industry. The MGT look like their right out college with no experience . Food was overcooked from halibut...to 24 oz. Prime rib. I believe covid has made it difficult to hold onto good experienced staff throughout the whole restaurant. The view and history of this great location is being butchered by bad Mgt.More

We visited this location for my husband’s birthday about a week ago.I’ve never ordered the wedge salad, with buttermilk dressing but it decided to do that this time and I don’t regret it. It was delicious ...fresh, crisp and full of flavor. It’s such an...easy salad but just works. We both had steaks, and they were predictably good. My husband ordered the escargot as an appetitizer, they were amazing. They are served with mushroom cap on top of the escargot and drenched in delicious garlic butter. We cruise a lot and he said they were better than the cruise ship which is quite a compliment. Finishing off the meal with a Billy Miner pie slice was perfect.. especially as it comes free for the birthday boy.More

Me and my boyfriend came here to celebrate our anniversary on halloween night. We called multiple times in the upcoming weeks asking for a falls view table and they said it was first come first serve. Once arriving to the restaurant, we waited for the...falls view table which was an hour wait, so we waited by the bar. Our table was than ready 45 minutes after. Our food was extremely rushed the appetizers, salad and main course came extremely fast with no time to enjoy at all. We didn’t feel satisfied with our service at all and we felt that they just wanted to seat the next table after us as soon as possible. We did not feel welcome at all and the food was too salty and did not meet our expectations. Second time visiting this location and we were not satisfied with our service.More

The window seating offers a great view of the falls, the other tables steps back offer the view of the back of heads. There is comfortable seating however and the atmosphere is cozy. Meals at The Keg are typically consistently good. Unfortunately this location lacked...a little with regards to cuts of steak (fatty) and dried out potatoes. The plates were hotter than the meals themselves. Likely it was due to the mediocre service we received but none the less the food was unimpressive. If you want a great view, book ahead and get a table at the window. If you want an amazing meal though, go elsewhere.More

My husband and I were dining at the Keg (Embassy location) last week and our experience was far from the romantic anniversary dinner we were expecting. Where to start?? When I made the reservation I let them know that it was a very special anniversary...for us and if we could have a window view it would be appreciated. Instead of a window view we got a small booth. We ordered our drinks which took forever to arrive, no water at all pre or post dinner and we had to ask for some which never came. My husband ordered a double rye and he said it tasted like pure water. Our Caesar salad arrived with barely any dressing on it and wilted greens. When our meal finally arrived it was plunked down with no "enjoy your meal" and when I asked the waitress if she could bring me the sour cream and chives that I had ordered for my baked potato she replied she would bring some back, guess what it never came!!! Next I asked a younger lady if she could bring some steak sauce for us because who goes to a steakhouse and doesn't want steak sauce with their steak??? She never came back so again I had to flag down our waitress and ask a second time for the sauce. The vegetables were mushy and cold so they were left on the plate. We sat for at least 20 minutes without any plates being taken away which gave us little room. At the end we were not offered coffee or tea or dessert, but by this time we were just ready to pay the bill and leave. Having no prices on the menu we figured that our meal might be a bit pricey but not the $180 that it was. I have been to several Kegs in the past but sadly this one by far was the worst experience of all.More

The Embassy suites Keg has restaurant coupons provided to other hotels in the area for $30.00 off a meal. When the order was taken, we made it clear there was a $30.00 off coupon. When delivery occurred, the price was very high and we paid...the total. We then provided the $30.00 off coupon and the delivery driver took it and said it was already subtracted. We then asked for an itemized copy of the receipt which the driver then had to reluctantly provide to us. When back in the hotel room and unpackaging the food, there was a lobster item missing. We then looked at the itemized receipt. It showed the correct meal. However, it also showed there was no subtraction for a $30.00 off voucher and a gratuity of 17% had already been added to the bill. This part really bothers me. When paying for the food when the delivery guy first came, the machine automatically takes you to a tipping screen, and as a socially acceptable norm, we tipped. It would really be nice for the Keg and/or the driver to inform you that tip is automatically added to the bill and no further tipping is necessary. So, we tipped, on a tipped and taxed price, thus, a further inflated price which gives you the feeling you have just been scammed by a reputable restaurant. It took 2 phone calls after and a conversation with the manager to get a lobster tail delivered and the $30.00 deducted. It shouldn't be that hard and it felt like we were the criminals. A valentine's meal I would NOT do again from the Keg Embassy Suites, Niagara Falls. (We were with another couple as well who also paid the double tip and their $30.00 coupon was not subtracted as well until the call with the manager.)More
