Embassy Suites by Hilton Boca Raton has garnered mixed reviews for its prime location, yet guests have called out the need for a thorough update and better maintenance. While the lobby exudes a contemporary charm, the allure fades as many find the rooms to be tired and in need of a refresh. The hotel's cleanliness and service often fall short of expectations, with a number of travelers expressing dissatisfaction with the housekeeping and overall value. Despite these criticisms, some guests do commend the complimentary breakfast and the reception experience.

I stayed in the Embassy Suites at the end of August 2020 to visit the campus of FAU. The hotel was empty for the most part. I kept checking the app prior to arrival to see if stated anything about the evening Happy Hour. It looked like it was still available. We arrived and went to our room (checked in via the app), the room was taped off with a cleaning sticker across the door. The room was clean (other than a shower cap that was hanging on the back of the bathroom door - an easy miss I suppose). The headboards on the beds were chipped as shown in a previous review. There was no Happy Hour; but, you could buy beer and wine and sit and enjoy in the lobby. My husband and I did purchase wine and the woman that poured it was very friendly. The restaurant had a limited menu offering take away food (did not eat from the restaurant). There was no cooked breakfast. Breakfast was a take away container with bagel, apple and yogurt.

The hotel did have an "odd smell". Dare I say, weed, wafted through the halls. And, as it turns out, the fire alarm was tripped that night - false alarm. I wonder why...

Perhaps because of Covid and local governance, the stay was not the usual experience. But, it wasn't a terrible stay. Just make sure you are happy with the room rate given the lack of usual amenities.

The Embassy Suites is well up kept. The rooms are clean and well laid out. It is ideally far enough off the interstate so you do not hear the highway traffic. Front desk staff is fantastic. Each interaction was a pleasure.
The breakfast spread was the best looking hotel breakfast I have ever seen. Made to order omelette station was a pleasure. The hot and ready items were okay. Bacon was inconsistent in flavor but a better quality than other chains. It’s not cut paper thin! The first morning I tried a waffle from the steam tray and one side was visibly freezer burnt and was not edible. Everything else was okay.
The hotel common areas and parking area are well kept, clean, well lit and safe. 53 Street Grille staff was a pleasure at every visit too. The pool on hot tub were both plenty clean and usable at all tiles and the pool towels, although only available at the front desk, were of good quality and size.
The biggest negative was the timeliness of housekeeping. There is no excuse for rooms not being cleaned and prepped by 4pm. The first day it was just okay but the second day was pushing 5pm when we wanted to shower from the day and get ready for the evening reception. When bringing this to the manager’s attention he apologized and offered to comp is some food while we waited, which we accepted. Very nice of him but being able to shower after a day of outdoor activities is priceless.

I needed a place to stay in between apartment hunting during the snowbird season. Embassy suites is a warm and inviting and extremely well run hotel. From the bell staff to the front desk personnel, to the waiters and bartenders in the lobby especially during the Happy Hour, everyone was extremely helpful and inviting. Devin and Pete are super stars. There were a few issues with the room which were immediately addressed. The housekeeping staff were always responsive to any problems. The front desk staff were always cordial and helpful, even helping me out of my car from the parking lot on a rainy and windy night. Their breakfast/dining room with delicious omelettes, in addition to a full buffet, has everything you could possibly want. The dinners are excellent and with a sweet and funny waitress like Paula from Boston, you feel like you are at home at her own kitchen table. They also provide a variety of lovely snacks during the happy hour. I look forward to coming back especially after their room renovations next year. The manager, is to be commended for running an excellent facility.

This is my businesses go to choice for presenters and seminar guests.
Nice sized rooms and a decent breakfast buffet. Check in and out is uncomplicated, the rooms are always clean. It get's really busy during the Florida season and during conferences, so booking in advance is highly recommended.

I hate leaving a negative review anywhere but I stay at a lot of Hilton brand hotels (all levels) and this one needs some improvement

Pros: young man working at reception in the evenings is extremely pleasant and helpful. Young lady working to allow guests into breakfast is nice. Main lobby areas seem well attended to and are in good shape.

Cons: the rooms need updating. You have to hold the toilet handle forever to get it to flush. You see the black mold or dirt around the bathroom sink rim on the bottom. Room humidity is horrible. Closet door wasn’t even on the sliding rail and was leaning against the closet. I can go on. I knew the negative reviews before staying here but I’m not that picky and figured I could deal with it and other reviews were just exaggerating the issues. But I’m not impressed and can’t wait till we check out. The other thing is even though it requires masks indoors, so many people do not wear them and enter elevators without them on as well Staff look the other way. In fact, an employee delivering towels this evening wasn’t wearing his mask. If you still have concerns with covid, do not stay here, you will not feel comfortable. I know someone said they take this seriously. I think what they take seriously is putting up the sticker that says they have cleaned the room and have a plastic covering over the remote. As for the pool area, you see these wonderful pictures of the pool area and it’s not like that. Yes, I would imagine there would be less chairs out due to Covid however you look at that area and all you see are tables. No chairs around the tables. Even if they wanted to minimize the number of people they could have a few more chairs out. They mention per CDC they limit the pool deck to 10 people or less. Well other hotels I’ve stayed at, Hilton brand, don’t follow this. So you see the picture I attached, a bunch of tables and no chairs.

This is just not a quality Hilton brand hotel. I would not stay here again.

I booked this location because of my previous experiences with other Embassy Suites. Boy was that a mistake. The staff was friendly but on Sunday our dirty towels were sent to laundry and I requested clean towels. In total, it took 4 communications with staff and 9 hours to get towels. Each time we were told they would be right up but that never happened. We gave up on morning showers and went about our day. Upon returning at 6ish in the evening, still no towels. When towels were brought up it was by a guy complaining that he had had to clean a room.

We checked out Monday and I placed a call to the hotel to speak to the general manager during business hours. I was told she was not there but would be there Tuesday. I called Tuesday and was told she was in the kitchen and too busy to talk to me. I requested that she call me back on Wednesday. I got a call on Wednesday but not from the GM. Instead I got a call from the same guy that brought me towels crying about having to clean a room. He said he knew that I requested the GM but that he was going to handle it instead. I declined! It’s now Friday night and no call from the GM. I was booking 4 nights again next month but at this point it’s obvious this hotel should not be allowed to use the Embassy Suites or Hilton names as they fail to deliver the quality implied by those brands. This general manager wants a job but won’t even give her guests the time of day. What a joke. Hopefully Hilton or the hotels owners can take corrective action because I love Embassy Suites. This hotel is a disgrace to the Embassy brand.

This Embassy Suites is your average 80's era hotel that has received some minor updates. The rooms are large and the bathrooms have been updated and furniture reupholstered, but they still feel old. My mattress was then, the air always smelled musty in the room even with the A/C on, and the property did not feel particularly well cared-for.

The staff I encountered were excellent and the complimentary breakfast was better quality than your typical Embassy Suites fare. I liked the option to upgrade the complimentary happy hour drinks to higher quality wines and liquors for a nominal fee.

We stayed at this property last night while visiting friends who live in Miami. The common areas of the hotel are nicely done and the hot breakfast was a surprise compared to the nasty bagged cold breakfasts that have become so common with COVID. There was not one piece of art on the walls of our two room suite. The walls, headboards and bed skirts were damaged and the carpeting was torn near the bathroom door. We supposedly had two queen beds but they appeared to be doubles and my bed was at least 5 inches lower than my husband's. The hair dryer did not work so the maid provided one from a different room. That one sparked intermittently while being used. Overall, not a bad value for the under $100 we paid before tax but definitely NOT what I would expect from a Hilton property.

First of all the good things: The reception staff was very welcoming and as they had rooms available they let us check in early for a minimal fee. There is a nice happy hour in the early evenings- free beer and wine plus lots of snacks. Dinner was also good but very slow in arriving. Breakfast is plentiful and good. The chef made great omelettes to order.
Not so good: The rooms are dated, the dark brown carpets are coming up in places, the headboard was torn and everything feels dark and dreary. There are no bellboys to help you with your bags.
Most problematic is the location: there is nothing withing walking distance.

Complimentary breakfast was absolutely abysmal. Rooms are incredibly outdated. There is no drinkable water in the room or vicinity so have fun paying 5$ to make a cup of compliments coffee. fire alarm was ripped out of the ceiling and the bedroom portion of the suite had terrible airflow.
