Consular district of the Embassy includes states and territories: Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Maryland, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, Wyoming as well as the territory of Puerto-Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa and Northern Mariana Islands.

The consular district of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in New York includes the states: Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.

The consular district of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Houston includes the states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
