You likely won't be able to tell from the lighting in this photo, but this little girl is the daughter of one of Hollywood's most famous faces – and he's taken to Instagram with a very special message to mark her 16th birthday.

"On this exact day 16 years ago… I was pacing in Pablo's trailer after a long day of filming," he wrote alongside this snap.

"When I shared with him the fact that I was hours away from receiving you he gave me that great advice that has made the experience the most beautiful moment in my life.

"As I search for today's words… how to express the pride, the joy…The light you have brought to the world's existence. The meaning in which your very soul has illuminated life it self. Blessed and grateful, is the lens I have been fortunate enough to view all things. However, when I distill happiness, joy and love to one singular source it is you, my Alpha Angel.

"You have opened parts of the heart I never knew where there. Your wisdom, compassion and kindness… your very being proves that no matter how dark the world may seem… light will always triumph. I am so proud of the human you are growing to be. Fatherhood has changed over the millenniums… but what hasn't changed, is that it is truly the best gift…blessing, a soul can know."

He concluded: "Happy Birthday my angel. Your proud and grateful father."

It's Vin Diesel's daughter Similce Diesel!

The 56-year-old shares Similce – whose full name is Hania 'Similce' Riley Sinclair – with 40-year-old Paloma Jiménez.

The couple, who have been together since 2007, also shares 13-year-old son Vincent Sinclair and nine-year-old son Pauline Sinclair.

Pauline is actually named in honour of the late Paul Walker, whom Diesel referred to as 'Pablo' in his message.

It's likely the advice he is referring to in the caption is when Walker told him to take a more active role in Similce's delivery, which he previously said on The Jonathan Ross Show.

He ended up being in the delivery room and cut Similce's umbilical cord.

Andie MacDowell and Margaret Qualley shared a sweet mother-daughter moment at the New York premiere of Qualley's new film, Drive-Away Dolls on Tuesday.

Qualley, 29, sat on her mother's lap for the fun snap as her mother held a cocktail glass.

The star told Harper's Bazaar about what it was like watching her Hollywood star mum do films while growing up, saying: "I think I understood enough to be proud of her."

"At the same time, I didn't love the whole movie thing when I was a kid."

"My mum going off to do a movie just meant she's going to leave town and go kiss some other dude and have a pretend life that I'm not involved in."

Actress Zoe Saldana has shared a rare glimpse of her family life with her husband and three sons in a recent video.

Posting to Instagram, the Avatar actress shared a video of a few moments with friends, family, and by herself, to the tune of Frank Ocean's Lost.

Included were a number of photos and videos of her rarely-seen children: twins Cy and Bowie, nine, and Zen, seven.

Also pictured is her husband, producer and director Marco Perego.

She captioned the video, "Lost, lost lost…. In the best places, with the best people. Always lost…. Amen!"

In one photo the mum of three can be seen by the water, smiling with her three boys.

She even snuck a video of her sons curled up sleeping together.

Magic Mike star Channing Tatum made a rare red carpet appearance with 10-year-old daughter Everly on the weekend, who he shares with ex-wife Jenna Dewan.

The actor, 43, was every inch the doting dad as he took her out to the premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - To The Hashira Training in New York.

Tatum, who is engaged to Zoë Kravitz, previously spoke about fatherhood on Today with Hoda & Jenna, saying: "I'm just trying to get by, I think just like every other parent, you're just kind of trying not to mess kids up, but you know you're going to on some level."

He added about his approach to parenting: "Even though they don't want boundaries, they do want boundaries."

"Her anxiety goes down, her stress level goes down when she just understands the rules."

Eminem's daughter Hailie has shared a family snap while attending the Detroit Lions' last game this week – but there was one glaring omission.

The influencer posed with her fiancé Evan McClintock, her dad's half-brother Nate, her sister Alaina Marie Scott and Alaina's husband, Matt Moeller.

But her father was nowhere to be seen, to the disappointment of fans.

Fans expressed their disappointment at the lack of the rapper. "She's been at the lions games these past days but never with her pops?," asked one.

"Amazing. What would be even more is seeing a full family pic with Shady," asked another.

But some fans believed he was the one behind the camera. "Think we all know who took the picture," one fan posited.

The youngest son of the late Michael Jackson was spotted on the Instagram of Norwegian rapper Omer Bhatti, with his rare public appearance being marked by an even more rare family photo.

Bigi Jackson – the 21-year-old brother of Prince Jackson, 26, and Paris Jackson, 25 – was born Prince Michael Jackson II in February 2002, but is better known as Blanket.

He's standing to the right of this photo, next to Bhatti and his cousins Randy Jackson Jr., Donté Jackson, Royal Jackson, and Jermajesty Jackson.

Bigi Jackson, pictured on the right here next to his siblings and aunt La Toya Jackson in 2011, last made a public appearance in Las Vegas in August to honour what would have been Michael Jackson's 65th birthday.

Prior to that, however, he hadn't been seen since 2022, and before that, since 2019.

In a 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight, he opened up about how he honours his father's legacy.

"It's just kind of what each of us want to do and makes things that people hopefully enjoy, but also can benefit their lives," he said.

He was born two years after Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe divorced via an anonymous surrogate.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas rang in the new year with a beach holiday, with their daughter Malti in tow.

"Took some time to feed my soul," she wrote in a caption on Instagram, sharing a series of videos and photos.

"2023 had me spent.. maybe I still am. Here's to a 2024 highlighted by peace, respite, family, love, joy and community. Hold your loved ones close. We are very lucky if we can. Happy new year."

The couple welcomed their nearly two-year-old daughter via surrogate in Janurary 2022.

Malti spent the first 100 days of her life in neo-natal intensive care, after being born three months early.

"I was in the [operating room] when she came out," Chopra Jonas told British Vogue in January 2023.

"She was so small, smaller than my hand. I saw what the intensive-care nurses do. They do God's work," she continued. "Nick and I were both standing there as they intubated her. I don't know how they even found what they needed [in her tiny body] to intubate her."

"I didn't know if she would make it or not," she added.

She also shared a photo of the pair drinking out of coconuts, which were emblazoned with "Casa Jonas".

The pair are vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. 

Danielle Spencer shared a rare snap of her Hollywood star ex Russell Crowe with their sons on Friday. The picture was taken in Rome at the famous Trevi fountain or Fontana di Trevi.

The actress and singer, 54, shared the sweet image on Instagram and wrote: "My lads and their Dad! Love this photo ♥️🥰."

The former couple share sons Charlie, 20, and Tennyson, 17.

Gladiator star Crowe, 59, and Spencer married on his 39th birthday back in 2003. The former couple first met while filming the 1990 Australian drama The Crossing.

The pair separated in 2012 but didn't finalise their divorce until 2018.

The pair have both moved on with respective new partners.

Crowe, one of Australia and New Zealand's top Hollywood exports, previously said about Spencer to The Sunday Times back in 2015: "I've loved Danielle Spencer since 1989 - that's never going to change - and that's one of those things where I stare at her and go, ''How did this fail?'"

"I still can't work it out, because my feelings for her have never changed,'' Crowe said.

The pair maintain a good friendship for the sake of their children.

Britney Spears has shared a series of rare throwback snaps of herself with sons Sean Preston, now 18, and Jayden James, now 17, on Instagram this week.

She shares her two teenage sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, who they live with in Hawaii.

In the images, the ...Baby One More Time hitmaker can be seen pulling a series of funny faces with her boys.

She is believed to be estranged from her two teenage sons and a year ago released a recording on Instagram talking about their relationship.

"I used to have my kids, at one point, more than Kevin," Spears said of her custody arrangement with her ex-husband.

"People don't remember that part because they always focus on the negative, but when they were six to nine years old, I had them 70 per cent of the time."

At the time, she said that since her sons chose not to see her for six months, she "felt like a huge part of me has died".

"Like literally, I have no purpose anymore. They were my joy, they were my everything ... that was what I lived for," she said. "And then all of a sudden, they were gone, and I was like, 'Oh my God, did my heart just stop beating?'"

"Honestly, I don't understand how it's just so easy for them just to cut me off like that. I don't understand it."

She was reportedly paying ex Federline $US40,000-a-month ($AU58,000) in child support.
