It's only a small restaurant but I like the high ceiling of the restaurant, not much sound reflection.

The restaurant was quite empty on a weekday evening. The goose liver paste pizza was quite yummy. The stuffed bean curb was also quite tasty. The soya sauce chicken was lovely - tasted like the Swiss soya sauce chicken. The pot with fish tails and bean curb was just okay - it was tasty but the bean curb wasn't cooked properly. It was kind of like warm.

The chicken stewed with crab sounded weird, but it is heavenly, enough for 10 with other home-cook style dishes. The atmosphere is bland with couple of big round tables. The restaurant serves western dishes at lunch. It is said the owner is a gourmet himself to have restaurant to enjoy food himself, not making profit. Adding to the weirdness is excellent western-style pastries for dessert- choco mouse, cream pudding. Not for the faint hearts! Address should be 98 Hing Fat St.

We are planning on New Year Spring Dinner Gathering. I only know this restaurant sent by a friend from whatsapp. So by knowing a picture from whatsapp... we go ...

Last night, February 18, we there... the restaurant itself looks like a private dinning room with a mix of Chinese and western decoration. They have both Chinese and Western menu available. We ordered 9 dishes, one dish in western and the rest are Chinese. My god! They all taste very good!! Especially the soy source chicken - the best I ever have! Don't forget to eat with a bowl of rice.. yummy!!

In a city with an abundance of highly overrated restaurants and poor food, this restaurant stands out as a little gem. It's hidden away from the touristy parts but absolutely worth a visit. The meats are out of this world, cooked to perfection, the salads are fresh and crisp and the service is impeccable. While a lot of places in Hong Kong serve previously frozen food, everything we ate was 100% fresh and one could really taste the difference. It might be the owner, it might be the location (i.e. cheaper rents), it might be attitude and it's probably a bit of all of the above, but this place really is fantastic. And it's very good value too.
