Michael "Ez" Green, 65, of Butler, passed away on Friday, Dec. 24, 2021.
He was born June 25, 1956, in Butler, and was the son of Evelyn and the late Floyd "Popeye" Green.
Mike was raised in Butler, and worked for Armco for almost 40 years.
He was known to be the kindest, most passionate, hardworking, family-oriented man. He was easy going, loving, free thinking, and lived through spirituality. Anyone that had the extreme privilege to know him would agree it was an honor to call him a friend.
He loved music, art and reading. He combined all his passions, skills and efforts to build "The Cabin" in Slippery Rock, over decades by hand. "The Cabin" was his life's goal and mission.
He was so loved and will be forever missed. The world wept the day Ez passed away.
Mike was the loving husband of Florence "Cissy" Green; father of Nichole (Brian) Wheeler, Megan Davenport, Tori (Brandon) Mowry, Kristina Snyder, Mylan Green, Shayna (Luke) Wilhite and Camryn Green; brother of Marty (Jeri) Green, Chris (Noelle) Green, Kelly (Bob) Bower, Alisa Green and Doug (Stephanie) Green; grandfather of Lexi, Noah, Dawson, Bayden, Ella, Evan, Harlow and Myka; great-grandfather of Layla and Daxton.
Mike is also survived by his brother-in-law, Bob Dandoy; numerous nieces, nephews, and a large and loving family.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Julie Dandoy.

Deepest sympathy to the family of Michael Green. I grew up in Meridian and also worked at Armco-AK Steel Mill so I´ve been acquainted with Mike most of my life. What I remember most of all, he always had a friendly smile on his face. Always!
Rest Ez Mike.
