Michael Scott Green of Springfield, Oregon, died suddenly on December 25, 2021, from a cardiac arrest at the age of 71. Born on November 19, 1950, in Brooklyn, New York to Florence (Schneider) and Lance Bernard ("Bernie") Green, he was the oldest of six children. He is survived by his ex-wife Patricia, daughter Michaela, two grandchildren also of Springfield, Oregon, his three sisters Kathleen Brink of Casa Grande, Arizona, Bernardette Schoenstein of Vallejo, California, Teresa Hoover of Greenburg, Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews. His two brothers, Kenneth J (2021) and Steven L. (2004), predeceased him as well as half-brother Lance Green of Alice Springs, Australia, in 2016.
Michael was a member of the Peninsula Masonic Lodge #168 in San Carlos.
A Celebration of Life to honor Michael will be held on May 14 in San Carlos. For details, please email [email protected]
